football is in one country. interest in Michael is around the world. so the comparison is invalid. Michael's popularity compared to Gaga.. Michael's been popular for fifty years and is greatest seller of all time. Gaga doesn't exist by comparison. She is flavor of the day. Michael is first international icon. Gaga is not the first, and still not as big. So that in the basement writer's immense envy-based hate of and 'indirect' lies about Michael and Michael's ratings, respectively...even now...along with some money-influenced blackouts of some Michael videos, to this day, in the USA, reiterates the massive all time greatness of Michael Jackson.

I think there will be, at least for some of the albums if not all.

To me it sound like there is more documentaries coming.

Aaaaaaah! I can't wait to see the Bad 25 documentary!

I'm sure someone might have already posted this, but is there any way we can watch it outside of the USA?
Can't find any stream or download so far. Would be really appreciated if you could help. :D

I watched the documentary on Tv on Thanksgiving...it was AMAZING. Spike Lee did an amazing Job..I cannot wait to see the rest of it. It showed Michael in the way that we really got to see him and that was in his creative process of his work...made me fall in love with him all over again

It totally would, but I doubt Spike would do them. It might be overkill.

Paris has performances from plenty of Michael's shows in better quality then we have with Wembley, she sleeps with his jacket under her pillow and she agrees that the estate should be doing a better job. also she is asking the estate about what they have etc. plus a secret. she cried during titanic first time! can't wait for the full unedited 2 hour & 15 minute documentary next Saturday, although I would have prefered without Justin Beaver's part. :imbad

Loved it soooo much! Wonderful work by Spike Lee. Thank goodness in this version on ABC Bieber wasn't on it, he he.

Anyway, it made me long for Michael and those wonderful days. He was at his peak and his genius was in full display and his hotness! I felt very nostalgic . I just hard a hard time sleeping, thinking about everything Michael went through and how his life could've been. . So bittersweet....

Michael was so charming and happy during Bad. He was glowing in the whole documentary. Sometimes i was distracted by his good looking and shining smile. Wait for the BBC longer version with no ads(Hope there is the live stream) So i can catch up the things i missed. Then the 1 hour extras on bluray :wild:( more Michael footage)

It was an awesome documentar butttttttt!! is it just me or was this edited down from footage I expected to see? I did not see the footage of Mike and Stevie in the studio, some celeb appearances never were shown, and the clips of MJ singing IJCSL in spanish.. I am sure there was more than wjat was leaked online too.

Does anyone have a copy they could share with the full footage, and/or know if the DVD release will be longer than the TV special shown here in US.

Watched the doc again last night with my bf....He skipped over the June 25th part though, "This is way too sad for me," he said...:( (First time we watched it, he was tearing up too...he's not even a hardcore fan)...

Can't wait for the Bluray release!

ps: I find it highly unlikely that Paris would have "performances from plenty of Michael's shows in better quality" unless the Jacksons had access to some sort of storage and have been keeping stuff from MJ Estate - which happens to be illegal.

yes it was edited down.
the full german broadcast has been online since the day it aired last month.
the bbc version airs soon.
the dvd comes out february 2013.

Oh Oh that woman's side eye, is almost as BAD as Michael's.

Anyone notice that the way Michael was acting in his interview with Ebony(?)--that shy way where he keeps turning his head away, smiling, and moving his eyes from side to side when his eyelids are lowered is the same way he acted at 13 on the Cheer program? I am talking about the one where he sang Ben in that orange suit.

I might be in the monority here but if they ever do documentary again I hope they do Dangerous, History or Invincible. Go forward. People already appreciate Off the Wall and Thriller. Now they are appreciating Bad. People were less focusing on Michael the artist and looking at his life. Making up crazy stories and not appreciating the work. The media and others were trying to make people forget what they loved Michael and how special he was. That needs to be corrected in my eyes.

Also in the documentary who was ?uest someone? He had a ? in front of his name. Some people I didn't recognize.

I actually agree with this....I would love to see studio footage of Thriller and Off the Wall, but you're right...move forward....I think everything after Bad deserves more love and recognition and a documentary done like Spike's would be the perfect way to do that...It WORKS, so I hope it will continue...

You said before it was a friend of hers you were talking to on Skype. I think they are fooling you. It is highly unlikely that she has access to higher quality shows when the Estate themselves don't have them.
