Songs which have been ripped off from others

What about Michael's BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR? I heard a song called LAST NIGHT A DJ SAVED MY LIFE, which has an identical bassline.
That was by an early 80's band called Indeep. Anyway, Janet's Let's Wait Awhile pretty much sounds like Daisy Jane, a light rock hit by America which came out around 1976 or 77.

Yeah I can see the resemblence in the two, both great songs aswell. Janet has sampled a few artists acctually

sometimes it can be soo positive, and not feel like a rip but a big influence..and, for my money..it can only be pulled off by Michael. and the fitting artist that i feel he pulled it from, and the reason why the vibe is so positive is Stevie Wonder, and the sum of both of them, and their relationship with each other, respectively.

the song Michael wrote is 'This Time Around'. and the Stevie Wonder song that it sounds like, is 'Superstition'. and, for me, while i really like 'Superstition', i LOVE 'This Time Around'.

The Chi-Lites "Are you My Woman Tell Me So" was ripped off by Beyonce's "Crazy In Love". Who ever produced the Crazy In Love song took the whole entire bassline and recieved alot of royalties for that song and The Chi-lites didnt receive anything being that, that IS there original song made it really messed up.
