Nope SAW VII is heading into production in January of 2010, ready for its usual Halloween release slot.

Agreed, sequals aren't always that great but it seems that the SAW sequels are actually not that bad. I've seen a few myself. But dang, they're starting on their seventh SAW in 2010? Jeez, they really must be making loads of cash off of these movies.

Ridiculous...it's just a new SAW every year. I still have to see Saw V.....
SAW was great, SAW II not so, SAW II was great again, and IV was aight.

They look like big, good, strong hands, don’t they? I always thought that’s what they were.
That classic line from ‘The Neverending Story’ is the first thing that comes to mind when I scope this new poster for ‘Saw VI,’ brought to us courtesy of Shock Till You Drop. Probably not what director Kevin Greutert was intending. Of course, if you look really closely, you’ll see Shawnee Smith’s name at the very end of the cast list, indicating this one is going to be flashback-heavy.
Don’t let the gloves fool you, either. If past ‘SAW’ posters are any indication, there won’t be a central plot theme about loose, fitting mittens.

I love the saw films so much but never knew there was another one just wondering wat will be happening this time :scratch:,thanks for showing the poster xxx

It would be about time lol... Part 1 was an amazing horror film, but all other parts were very average...

Not long ago, Yahoo! presented a "motion poster" for Saw VI. The image was a portrait of John Kramer (aka Jigsaw), represented by the culmination of his "followers." The poster has now come into better focus and, as you can see, the tiny people are all wearing pig masks and robes. This is the third one-sheet Lionsgate has drafted for the film, see the other two here and look for the film in theaters on October 23.

First SAW VI Still Binds You

We're not talking constipation here, people. We're talking "bind" as in you're tied up and helpless. And we expect a lot more goodies as we near SAW VI's October release, too. Game on!

SAW VI is sporting a big cast -- Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, a returning Shawnee Smith, Shauna MacDonald, Devon Bostick, Marty Moreau, Karen Cliche, Shawn Mathieson, Melanie Scrofano, James Gilbert, Shawn Ahmed, Janelle Hutchison, Gerry Mendicino, Caroline Cave and Ginger Busch. Hopefully they will all die horribly come game-time on October 23rd.

Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.

Two New SAW VI Images Emerge

Two new images have emerged from SAW VI via the SAW Facebook group. The first is of Tobin Bell, once again reprising his role as Jigsaw and the other of Peter Outerbridge who plays William Easton, one of the main characters in the anticipated sequel. Both images are below.

Yes, SAW VII is on the way. And yes, David Hackl is returning to direct. The next chapter is in 3-D, in fact, a scoop we broke to you long ago.

Today, via Facebook, Hackl writes: "SAW VII 3D pre-production begins TODAY!! I'm so cranked. The story is always the most important thing in my opinion. This time I want it to be a game for everyone. I want to create the effect of feeling like you are right in a trap."

Saw 1 was REALLY good but I was totally creeped out and had to watch it with a group of friends, Saw 2 was okay and saw it with 1 friend, Saw 3 I sat at home in my PJ's watching it by myself kinda laughing while eating Ben and Jerry's......they got lamer and lamer. They need to STOP making these damn movies!
 
Don't expect that to happen and they may get lamer and lamer to some people but they are still raking in the cash so at the end of the day they're getting the last laugh.
