Ryan White - 20th Anniversary of His Passing

Ryan White was a sweet and innocent child whose time on this planet was short but relevant. I never knew him personally, but he had such joy within him. It shows itself in the way he smiled, in all the available footage there is of him, you can see that special glow within him. Despite his illness, he was able to be happy. He didn't live in fear, or didn't show it, and that in itself is greatly courageous.

Michael was such a friend to him. It's one of the most admirable things in his legacy. In a way, they both had that in common--short lives, but relevant and lasting impact. Friends forever indeed, and may they both rest in peace.

Wow, 20 years already? Ryan died the year I was born! I hope he and Michael are reunited in Heaven dancing and singing with the angels.
