Rebbie Jackson's grandson

thats why ppl use other terms such as south east asian for eg to seperate someone who comes from say india to someone who comes from japan korea etc.so it splits up the areas as u cant use asian to describe everyone as it becomes confusing . call some asian here it means indian/pakistani. that kinda area. the term asian for say someone from japan/china isnt really used. tmk oriental isnt a negative word here. it descibes ppl who come from the orient.its kinda confusing that in america i presume? they use the word asian to cover anyone whos from asia. that could mean you could be anything lol and is abit ignorant. it makes it look like everyone from that area is the same when they are as different as u can get

the orient was originally used to desciribe the east and the ppl who came from there.

Oh I see how in the UK the term is use. Also I meant to say that the term Asian is used too in the United States to describe a person if their family ancestry decends from Asia. They could be Japanese American, but the term use would still be Asian American.

Here is another example, if a child is missing and the police issues a call for people to be on the look out of a missing child, they are not going to say the child was Chinese or Japanese the report would say a child of Asian decent because other people would not know what nationality the child is from or decends from. So people would be advised to be on the lookout for an Asian boy or girl based on some descriptions given by the police like what type of clothing they were wearing.

And to keep this Reebie related. Her grandson would not be described as Asian in America. He would probably be described as African American.. But that is how the U.S. is.

well stacee's son is interesting to some folks...lol im sure if tj was more open about his son, he'd have his own thread here as well!

and since the asian features are more dominant, he'd be described as asian over african american

Well I hear TJ hates the fact that his sons picture is through out the many fansites. And I don't see the mother and father of London on any of the fansites, so I didn't think they would approve of Londons being discussed. Are you saying they are open to this?

The older London gets, his African American side of him will become more dominant and for that reason he will be considered African American by others. Tiger Woods looked just like Rebbies grandson when he was his age. Also London's cousin Siggy is part Asian. But those African American features are very dominant...

i think that's b/c no one even knew tj had a son and part of it was b/c of their image and another part was b/c he didn't want royal to grow up in the public eye.
