I have issues with the whole Exeter Football Club visit. That said, I did find a cute MJ fan story from someone who was there that day. I'll try to find the page number in my notebook and post it. It wasn't madly exciting so don't get your hopes up, lol. Mainly knowing Michael was on a particular train and getting over-excited. Something like that.

Same. It looks like Thriller era. I don't know who the woman is. It's not Linda McCartney. I thought it might be her cos Michael and Linda did the chorus harmonies for The Man. But it really doesn't look like her, the hair is wrong and the clothes are all wrong. I'd love to know more.

Interesting! I had no idea this visit even happened, let alone have any kind of opinion on it. Now I'm intrigued lol. But still, I look forward to your story! I love that you have a little notebook of things to share :)

Yeah, right! Cannot find wretched note. Only did it last night. I mean, I know I'm having a crap week but, fgs! I just noted it down last night. Was just looking in notebook, seems to be full of meaningless garbage!

Actually, slight exaggeration. Have been listening to lots of lovely Michael, all of it based on little lists I was doing last night. Sometimes the notebooks do justify their existence, lol.

Oh god, here she is. Girl, after a decent amount of sleep (for a change) I'm only just recovered from your meltdown last night. And here we go again!!!!!

JK. I love the dramatics. Where would we be without the wildness? In a nunnery, probably.

Also, good suggestion. There can never be too many 'phone' pictures of Michael.

I'm so pleased you reminded me of that moment. I had forgotten (how could I?) how funny that moment was. It was pure gold. Man, you lost it so hard I was worried you were gone forever. O me of little faith! You're a warrior. You're made of sterner stuff than me. You just marched on to the next awesome image of darling Michael.

UPDATE: I just lost it all over again... I *know* it's just a silly picture. I know that. And yet... somehow... I want to be the telephone, the photographer, the undone button... I want to be all the inanimate things, and some of the animate ones, and I want Michael to call me on the phone from this exact position!!

WHAT THREAD IS THIS?!

The dramatics are what I bring to the table here! I feel like I am the unhinged, thirsty interpreter of all the polite things we say about Michael's beauty, when what we really mean is we want him to light us on fire (ok, I'm the only one who ever says that...)

This is so beautiful. I know I always say that. I get bored with my own comments cos everything is 'beautiful' or 'awesome'. I gave up a long time ago trying to a) vary my vocabulary when talking about Michael and b) trying to find words that do him justice. It's hopeless. I can't do it, I don't have the skill. Hence the endless repetition.

But this is stunning. I don't like that video but this is a lovely, lovely image.

I feel the same way about my own vocabulary! Lot's of "sexy" and "f***ing sexy" and "so sexy I could die", you know... but hey, we are building that vocabulary for a reason, right? haha

Wait, so what video is this from? I feel like I can't place the time of the photo. It makes me think of Who Is It but I'm not sure. If that's the case, I also don't like that video too much. Not enough Michael.

Indeed we are. 'desperately desperate' and 'puddle of nonsense' and 'holy Manhood thread' are the newest additions to the thesaurus. I'm loving all of them. I think 'puddle of nonsense' could be my new place of residence. 'desperately desperate' kinda sums up every response I've ever had to Michael from day dot to just now.

Oh, is it not from Who Is It? It looked like that shot where he's on the sofa, all broken. I'm no expert on WII video cos I don't like it. Too boring, not enough Michael, don't like the story, don't like the lighting or editing or, really, any of it. So I hardly ever watch it so I probably have got it wrong.

But this shot (or photo or whatever it is) is quietly beautiful and haunting and is loaded with emotion. There is a quiet despair here which is why I thought I recognised it from the vid.

I don't like the video but I do love the few shots of Michael we have. He looks devastatingly beautiful in that vid. Every shot of him is engraved on my brain even though I hardly ever watch it. In fact, the shots of him seem kind of wasted given that the video is so dull (imo, obvs, I'm sure many people love it). D'you know what I mean? When you have Michael Jackson looking THAT amazing, well, DO something with that, fgs! Create something that matches how awesome he looks, iyswim. I know there were problems on the video shoot. I'm just not sure that David Fincher's vision was *ever* going to give us what that song needed.

Here endeth the rant. I will now return to my 'puddle of nonsense'. Mail can be forwarded.
