Rare photos of MJ doing the moonwalk for the first time

Rare but i would guess this 85/86 when he was growing his hair out. and def. not the first time he did the moonwalk. But it's cute picture he looks he's been told by his mom "mikey mikey show your grandparents how you dance..." haha

I'd say your right. Those photos look like they were taken in 1986, when Michael was growing his hair longer for the Bad era look. In 1982 Michael's hair texture though in a Thriller style had tighter curls more like on The Jacksons 1981 Triumph Tour. Those photos defintatly aren't from 1982-83.

This is not Thriller Era.His face looks different.Michael never had so long hair before Bad era.I say 1984-5
 
It looks like the Captain Eo era. :) Definitely more Bad than Thriller.

This is from 1985-1986...........way after hed done to moonwalk . He'd done it tons of times before that haha
