I completely understand what you mean. And I think it was stupid of him to be talking about this soooooo early.

But when someone comes up to you to ask you about your story, and they have a recorder in their hands.....people just start to talk.
 
I am not sure he really said this. There has already been fake interveiws from Grace and a lot of people.

yes... some kind of people.
I always though Quincy as a great composer, but when it came to a parson, never liked him. Not the first time he act so meanly, also with others. To say tha MJ was a freak and a racist after he passed away, withouth asking himself so why he was spending time with him at the very least, is something that only someone who isn't a good person can say.
Not the first time he act like that, not the first.
 
The BBC website has an article on this same Q&A session he did in Cardiff but failed to mention any of the "not liking being black" stuff, and you'd think they would've jumped on that,so Im not sure Quincy actually said those things.

If he did, then I just dont get it. How can you speak ill of someone you profess to be shocked to the core about?

And even if Quincy said such things, he would be an idiot because that would mean Michael's doctor lied when he spoke about Michael having vitiligo in 1993. It was an interview to lie.

It would also mean that Michael's photos lies when you can see vitiligo on his hands and feet.

This seems to be a fake article to take advantage of the drug stories, stories about the kids parentage and to try and undermine Michael.

I don't see Quincy referring to Michael's kids that way. And Michael not wanting to be black is the oldest tabloid story.
If it's a fake, it's about someone taking all their vile about Michael and trying to channel it through someone they hope the public will be led to believe.

There are times i used to think the media was about reporting the truth but when you get to know Michael, you learn the media is a channel for mass manipulation by those who control it.

That is a different interview. The guy who did the interview for Details mag is Jeff Gordinier. Like I said look through the site and look at the other interviews. They interviewed Joe Frazier and Stan Lee among others.

This isnt a sensational tabloid mag.

I can detect there is a bitterness in Quincy that is driving him to say that, thanks for the video.

He feels bad because in 1991 Michael employed people and was paying them more than him.

Being close to Michael does not mean understanding teh guy. That's why Michael felt alone even with Quincy as he says in Take 2, "They communicated to me on an entertainment level"

And that's where Quincy's commentray should stop, on an Entertainment level, because definitely he could not relate to Michael on a personal level.

And i bet he and Oprah talk trash about Michael in the background and come up with all this trash. That's why i said Oprah was no good for Michael in teh 1993 interview because you could see she wasn't helping Michael explain.

Any doctor who has dealt with people who have vitiligo will identify Michael's deep emotions during the 1993 interviews and people who suffer from the condition often talk about how some aroudn them don't belive what they say. Why should Quincy be any different.

He doesn't understand vitiligo and doesn't wish to. Because if he is going to ignore what Michael said, what his doctor said and what photos of vitiligo on Michael show, then he is the one in denial.

RIP Michael because really with junk like this around him as "friends" he was always better off in heaven.

So what Quincy is trying to say is that Michael lied to the world and kept peeling himself till he became super white.
I guess other vitiligo sufferers are also in vitiligo and are busy chemical peeling themselves.

The unfortunate thing is the public can be made to believe this because they think Quincy knew Michael very well.
But it no longer matters as long as Michael rests in peace.

It always amazes me just how much people in general, when faced with several possible explanations about something, often want to believe the weirdest and most negative things about Michael. It cannot be that Michael is telling the truth; it must be that he is in a conspiracy in which he lies, doctors photos to make it look like he has a skin condition, carries an umbrella in sunlight to make the act more convincing, and pays off doctors and make-up artists to lie for him.

Wow talk about having 2 faces. Quincy is the last person that needs to talk about MJ not wanting to be black. Many ppl in the black community feel that he has issues with black women. As a black woman I personally don't care who you date or marry, but Quincy don't throw stones because we have never seen you with a black woman nor married to one. Then you have a girlfriend that is way younger than your daughters and only like 2yrs removed from high school. So he may want to put those stones down.
He wasn't worried about MJ or any of his other friends since he claims he has been around all kinds of addicts (I'm not saying MJ was addicted to anything b4 anyone takes that the wrong way). If he was a true friend he would've done what his father and others should have done and intervened and I don't just mean by talking to him and telling him he needs to stop doing whatever.
Quincy was only worried about one thing: THE MONEY COMING IN OFF OF THRILLER!!!
Man talk about being shady...

Damn Quincy you can be put on the list of ppl that are dogging this man out after he has passed. I hope you can sleep peaceful at night.. Muscles should've squeezed your damn legs..lol and Bubbles should've flung poo at you..

BTW he is really and still upset at Michael because he left him for other producers! LOL!

Now Quincy is happy that everyone is reporting him saying that MJ hated to be black. Michael will love it Quincy. Thanks.
 
Yeah, Michael "hated being black" that's why he left Quincy a black man to work with Teddy Riley, a black man.

He hated being black that he entrusted the care of his "white" children to a black woman.

Hey, Michael "hated being black" so much that he employed a black doctor who was around him when he dies.

Michael loved people of all races and was sorrounded by people of all races. Yet some lowlife wants to inject negativity now Michael is dead.

Quincy Jones is now letting off the grudge he has held against Michael for years.

I think he was also upset that after Michael was acquitted, he was working with Will I Am, Akon and all the rest on what was to be his big album, but wasn't dropping Quincy a line.

I mean, what kind of "friend" gives an excuse when asked if he would work on an album if Michael asked, by saying that he has so much on his plate to spare time to work on Michael's new album, when Kenny Ortega, who was way busier than Quincy, managed to create time?

When he said that i knew this guy bears some grudge against Michael.

Akon is way busy, so is Will I Am, but they created time.

I just wish Michael's next album surpasses Thriller so that Quincy stops taking credit for Michael's success and people who truly appreciate him can then be the ones to comment.

Like someone else said, if this is fake then it's a good fake. I've read Q's biography and he talks just like this... very open, blunt, and honest enough to make you cringe. I don't understand why he felt any of this was ok to say right now. If he wanted to let the "truth" or whatever he thinks the truth is to be known about Michael, why couldn't he have waited until the dust settled for awhile. It's way too soon for BS like this, ugh.

And he sounds SO bitter in that video Spin My Ego posted a page back. It's just so sad... now we see who Mike's true friends are. I couldn't imagine talking about ANY of my friends like this, alive or dead, no matter what I thought about them.
 
If quincy did say this then he should be ashamed of himself. I would like him to also come and tell my mother (who has vitiligo) that she hates being white and so is trying to be whiter! pffft! This guy is behaving like joe jackson. Maybe they are both becoming old bitter and senile together!

Well said. Him and Joe Jackson seem to be cut from the same cloth.
One moment they are mourning, the next they are all about themselves.

Debbie Rowe shut up Joe in that he will watch his every move concerning using Michael, but for Quincy.....
 
My respect for Quincy has gone way down, I think he really needs to take a good look at himself before shooting his mouth off about others.
