Quincy Jones Dead at 91!

Michael owes a lot to Quincy. Without him, the collaboration with Van Halen would not have happened, without him there would be no Human Nature or Man in the Mirror.
rip, Q
He owes a hell of a lot to Q , Michael’s legendary solo career would not have been as spectacular as it was without him.

The partnership was iconic, just like The Beatles and George Martin , Quincy /Bruce MJ

I know some fans don’t like him for the way he acted in his later years but there’s no denying the impact Quincy had on Michael.

"I cried tears of sadness, love and much respect when I woke to the news of Quincy Jones this morning.

He has been an incredible inspiration to myself, my husband and so many other aspiring musicians all over the world and will continue to spread joy through the beautiful music he’s given us.

We were lucky enough to have met him once in New York City and share some time together. He was so charming and had us in fits of laughter. I’m so glad we got to tell him how much he meant to us. Always a legend.

RIP Quincy." ❤️

I hate Quincy and have no real sympathy at all really, but that said he was a very good producer and that cannot be taken away from his legacy.

@colmandomingo

"He asked, where are you from? Philly I replied, his eyes twinkled and he talked about the Uptown Theater. I was so thrilled to meet Mr. American Music himself. I literally kneeled because he was a King. Thank you Mr. Quincy Jones for giving us all the sound."

I know some MJ fans have had their issues with Q in more recent years (Myself included) but there's no denying that the man was an incredible talent and a genius.

Q was the one who recommended Rod Temperton to Michael which led to classics like Rock With You, Thriller and the beautiful Lady In My Life.

RIP, Quincy.too

Myself included too. But there is no denying in that era they rode each other to glory.
RIP Qunicy

RIP Quincy

Regardless of what was said towards the end, I'll always be grateful for him as he and Michael created some true magic together. I'll be forever grateful for his contributions to my favourite albums
