Playground!

LOL :D Yeah it was pretty darned good.... now we are trying to polish off a pumpkin pie I made from scratch because my friends had never had one before... talk about a pain in the @ss... my friend who came from America had to bring a can of pumpkin pie filling in her suitcase cuz I couldn't find it here!

Okay anywho...

From my birthday to Xmas Eve I worked like crazy. Was super psycho busy with psycho spazzy parents... kids were fine though :p
On Xmas Eve after work I came home and jazzed up and we went to the Catholic Club (although we aren't religious :p ) for a wonderful dinner of pastas and wine.
Xmas Day was spent intoxicated lol. We even had champers with our breakky... and a very funny silly string fight that I found myself in the middle of while opening pressies...
On NYE, my friend came from Iowa. We went into Sydney and had dinner in Chinatown and then watched the big Sydney fireworks from the bridge in Darling Harbour. All I can say is that Sydney puts on one HELL of a show!!! Holy cow!! Never seen so many fireworks going off at once in my life! :clapping: Less can be said about the cabs back in our suburb though... we ended up having to walk 40 mins from the train station while half blitzed, hot and tired since it was like 3am by then........ not one cab would stop!

From then until a couple days ago were spent going all around the area with my friend in tow to show her Sydney.
We spent a day in the Blue Mountains which was amazing. The tram car ride is the best view... and the ride down is on a steep incline train and it drops and you are like..........zomg rollercoaster lol. And they are cheeky and play the theme song to Indiana Jones while you drop down the side haha.
We spent two different days at Bondi/Bronte/Tamarama beaches... one of those days I got amazingly sunburnt grrrrrrrrr... but my hair is now like three shades lighter than it was from the sun, so at least there is that positive... and we got to see a few rescues by the Bondi Lifeguards... gotta love those boys :shifty:
We walked across Sydney Harbour bridge another day and then jumped on a ferry to Watson's Bay for fish & chips & beer. This was after exploring the EZEELOO they have near Luna Park. It was histerical. It's a huge metal box, you push a button and the door opens and it has the "cheesy monotone lady voice" going... welcome to Ezeeloo... the door shuts after you go in, then 'the voice' tells you that you have ten minutes to do your duty, after that an alarm sounds and the door flies open... not joking!! Then it proceeds to play cheesy muzak while you are in there. Was just way too funny :p And the EZEELOO self cleans itself when not in use too :lmao:
We also went to Harry's Cafe De Wheels for meat pies topped with peas, mash and gravy, went to the Powerhouse Museum, went to the London Lolly Shop in Darling Harbour, ran around the Opera House, nosed through Virgin Megastore... etc. etc.

So yeah... Now I've hit a brick wall from all the crazy days... so today, I'm doing nothing :D

So how was your Christmas/NYE etc? Lets see how long it takes you to read all that hahahahaha :p

Lol i wondered what was taking you so long to reply.. now i know  what a post :p

LOL can't say i've had a pumpkin pie either.. wouldn't bringing something like that get them in shit if customs saw it?? lol not that i'd know coz i've never been overseas so have no idwa what the rules are :p
and to save me replying to everything else ya posted it all sounds pretty fun ;)

My christmas involved getting ridiculously burnt coz it was like 33 degrees (had to be in the hottest place in the countryfor all of December with no sunscreen *stupid me*)
And then i had a few vodka and lemonades at night an persuaded every1 to watch DT: Bucharest with me at like midnight :D

My new year was boring as hell.. hung with family and played Buzz :lmao: then played with sparklers with my sister. then watched some of this effing stupid countdown to new years thing on the old peoples channel over here :p listened to WBSS at midnight like i do every year and went to bed at 3am completely sober :bugeyed like wtf i know !!

LMFAO awwwwwwwwwwww you went to bed on NY sober!! Well, there's always next time!! Hell get some booze and drink and run around the house listening to MJ super loud or something hahaha :lmao: Wait... that totally sounds fun..I want in!!..... DOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIT :p

You can bring canned food as long as it's sealed properly and you claim it on your customs form they give you on the plane. :D

I used to think that 33 was really hot..... until summer started here..... now unless it gets to 38 I don't complain.... but I totally understand the sunburn thing!!! I sunburned my scalp where my hair part is :( As well as my face, arms, legs, feet....

Yay for sparklers :woohoo:

Oh, and I spent a few NYE at work at the hospital in Milwaukee I worked for... now THAT sucked major @ss!! Yours was okay!!! :p

 that does sound like fun :shifty: i'll go set up the stereos around the house so they play the same thing at the same time XD so MJ can follow me :p

NYE at work would suck even more than christmas day at work IMO

ooo did you see the pic of my new glove :D

Haha that sounds like so much fun... a few drinks... MJ blasting around the house...... I get silly and try to dance (which is frightning cuz I SUCK!) then because this house has all the rooms like, connected, you can literally run a circle around the whole house, room to room and back where you started. So when we occassionally get to um... intoxicated :shifty: and like the other day, I slipped in the Dangerous cd (surprised? yeah me either... :p ) and next thing you know we are all jamming out (my friends like RTT the best apparently lol) and then there I go... running around the house like a maniac

Yeah you could have a great NYE that way... hahahahaha :p

Lol like i've said before i suck too.. i guarantee you'd be better then me XD
hehe running round the house in circles :p now let me tell ya something even better than Dangerous to do that to *come in close this is a secret :whisperinginear* there's this album called HIStory ;)

Hahahaha yeah I could totally see that... on agro days I could run around in circles to They Don't Care About Us  and on contemplative days to Earth Song with my arms all out like MJ would do when singing....

..... and then I'd probably hit something with my outstretched arms and you'd hear *crash* *bam* *bang* and a nice loud... @#!$% haha :p

Hey do you have facebook? I can't remember if I asked before or not?

And no friggin way.... I'm sure you dance better than I!!!!

Welll... i have facebook :D but between you and me i only got it to try get this chick but i never got around to using it  soo it's empty :p

And honestly i spent like 3 hours trying to do Billie Jean *coz of the new glove XD* one night last week and it was just terrible

Ok you should start using your facebook! There's a bunch of MJJC peeps on there :D

And I totally want to see the glove! :woohoo:

Did I tell you that next month I'm gonna take a pic of a real glove MJ wore?? They are gonna have a rhinestone glove he wore and the jacket he was wearing on Motown 25th at the Powerhouse.... I'm like..... :woohoo: !!! I know it's just a glove and jacket but it's THE glove and jacket... you know what I mean???

^ That's what they had sitting next to the Bad Tour jacket and cards and doll and huge poster of MJ from the Motown 25th. I can't wait! I have no idea how they are aquiring it for the 80's display but I'm sure gonna ask when I go back.

Humm it only says the jacket from the first performance ?? maybe they just have some random glove that he wore.. not that that would be any less cool :D

lol yea i bought it off eBay (first eBay purchase ever lol) and it had free shipping FREE SHIPING i always bid heaps if anything has free shipping :p

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too... or they said it wrong, not sure. The Bad tour jacket is pretty cool though. I'll have to post a pic of that for ya.

Well that is VERY cool :D I bet! It's expensive to have stuff shipped to AUS and NZ! I learned that when I ordered my paramedic-I textbooks so I could pre-study :bugeyed It's friggin not cheap!! I am hoping I get them tommorrow though so I'm all like... :woohoo:

PS: have you seen this yet?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAxOcewlChM
I cant stop watching... it's so cool...

I had seen it :p makes my one i made the other day seem like complete bullshit

US one is a bit better but it takes forever to get here :p i want my j5 cds NOW!!!! not the 8th of feb *angry rant*

OMG I know tell me about it. I feel like I've waited forever for my books already

I'm gonna head in... as it's been a loooooooooong week and I'm tired as (shockingly it's only about 9pm and I'm ready to sleep...wtf... friggin' heat...)

But I leave you with the pic I took of the Bad Tour jacket at the Powerhouse Museum :D

The book with it, is one of many books they'd left out to sign and write stories about MJ in after he passed. I actually signed twice :p because multiple friends wanted to go in and write in them. ;) Was amazing though. Messages in it are written in so many different languages, so many people walked into the museum to sign. Just too humbling...

And I'll seeya tommorrow :) Sleep well :D

I'm gonna start calling you Metro Edge :p

So I finally talked myself into watching the jackson family dynasty episodes... it's very interesting but it's also very sad  i just watched where they saw thriller live and then jackie started crying while telling the cast how good they did :(

Thanks Paris. I knew it was going to be sad but jeez I hate when it is and you are sitting there with an apple sized lump in your throat and looking like this ---> every like ten minutes.....

There is some rather amusing parts though too. I like seeing all their different personalities and I get a kick out of jermaine because he's so the primadona of the group :p

Which ep is that?? i havn't seen it...
and i know what you mean some bits of the couple i watched made me a bit sad to.. and when they cried over michael.. heartbreaking

And only i can call myself metro :p not you
