It was nuts. And long..... I thought it was nine hours, turns out it was ten... but thankful I was in the A/C all day! Was a superscorcher outside!

LOL woooooooooooooo that sounds fun :rofl: Better than watching kids freak out though. I had one little girl, who i'd gotten down almost on my knees to talk at her level and tell her santa is okay, she totally wrapped herself around me and then proceeded to peer around ME to peek at him.... it was SO funny but she was so terrified!!!

OMG it got just over 43 here.......... I seriously miss my home climate right now!!!!

I just watched the first ep. i don't know what to think of it, some of it's okay but it feels like to much of it is done for the cameras.

and now i'm going to watch ep2 :p
 
Well Michael wasn't in it at all even though 95% of the first ep was before he umm passed. it had them at a party celebrating 40 years of the J5 and a lot of the extended family were there. and they had some studio stuff and a heap of bickering throughout. then they went back to were it all began and they showed the hall where they won their first talent show back in the 60s. ahh then they had them sitting down and they all got upset when Jermaine talked about why he didn't go with them to CBS
 
Is this the one where Mike said he didn't want to be a part of it? I can't remember but I think it is right? I dunno, I have mixed feelings on certain peeps in the family.... you gotta keep me posted on this though, so even if I don't watch it, I've got a recap lol. Thanks for that :D
 
umm i'm not sure but he would of bee planning the This Is It shows when this was filmed so he would've been busy enough. I'l give you a recap on Ep.2 tomorrow I can't be bothered watching it now.
Would you go to the J4 show if they end up doing their tour??
 
Okay, thanks for that, it's appreciated.... I just sort of censored myself to a lot of stuff for, well basically my own mental wellbeing. A lot of stuff gets me mad and it's just not worth getting so upset over. I'm really happy to at least know a bit of what's going on in it though :ph34r:

I'm not sure that I would. I mean, my whole MJ fandom was about him, not really the J5. There's only a select few songs I like of them as a group... and I know what he went through in that group too, so it's hard to think I'd go... If the opportunity presented itself, I'd think about it before deciding though.

well i don't know either. like it'd probably be an alright show, they'd still play bloody good songs, but the magic wouldn't be there that Michael had every time he performed. Like when you watch the 30th Anniversary or the Destiny Tour (only other 1 i have with them all :() you can see that he is the centerpiece , the other brothers are ok but they are imo just sideshows compared to him.
if they got Janet involved somehow i reckon that'd be cool but they wouldn't... or she wouldn't...
 
See that is a LOT of what I think too, that he was the centerpiece... like trying to have an american thanksgiving without the friggin turkey.... okay weird metaphor but you know what I mean....
Yeah it wouldn't have the same spark imo either.
I have this whole secondary issue with what Michael being part of J5 did to him all around that I don't like... so there is that for me as well....
But I agree it just wouldn't be the same.
Do I think they should tour though? You know what? Absolutely. They should have done it years ago instead of trying to hold out for Michael. I mean, to me they aren't as good but they worked all those years too and they deserve to tour and do those songs. So in that respect, I hope they do well.

I just don't know if I could go see them.

i also agree with you saying that they should tour, they do deserve it and there will probably be a big media interest in it so they will get some crowds They should play smaller venues tho, i don't see them selling out 60,000 seat arenas one after the other. and they should have fun with it, they shouldn't try and hard out choreograph it or anything...
