I agreed with your post. I saw someone say that on TV actually. I forgot who it was but she said "to the world he was an icon, but to us, he was Michael". And I was like what!? But you know... it just the fact that she totally generalized the population over her own views. I couldn't help but feel like an outcast type of fan who never "knew" Michael.
Geez, I love Michael Jackson for many reasons. And that does include his entertaining value as well. So sue me if I love how he danced and sang.
I only know what I read and saw. And much of it was lies while some were great truths.
