Re: Paris Jackson Discussion/Picture Thread Part II
Never heard of this person called Sia in my life, so I guess I am missing some of the background to this story?
She's a singer, who supported LN last year (seems to be a bandwagon jumper attention seeker), now she's about to release a new LP and planned to use Paris for PR. So she wrote her an ass-kissing message, fans (and Taj and Brandi) were calling her out for her hypocrisy and were in a winning position already, when Paris came and acknowledged Sia's message :/, completely taking the bait.
Sia then continued with trashing the whole family, treating Paris as some kind of victim, herself as the savior, and those who tried to protect Paris by showing Sia's true colors as bullies. The most painful is how clueless Paris was the whole time, liking Sia's tweets and ignoring those who tried to warn her. She can be manipulated very easily by being flattered and it's very alarming (it wasn't some kind of master manipulation but Paris couldn't see through it at all). In brief: Sia succeeded with her evil plan.
Hopefully Paris will find out it was all a PR stunt using her, and wises up a bit, but TBH she seems to be completely unable to tell friends from enemies. It's like she tries too hard to find her "independence", to the point she misses the mark and sides with leeches trying to use her, while distancing herself from those who have her best interest in mind. Completely sad to witness, it's a bit like screaming to a clueless film character, warning them to beware of the predator in the background, but can't make a difference, obviously.
Sia's calculated cold moves still give me the creeps, and I can't fathom Paris's "serenity" towards people trashing her dad and family. And JFTR: I don't want her to fight this battle, as one of the biggest win against M's detractors is if his kids can be as unaffected by this mess as possible. But to interact with haters and choose them over real supporters is just incomprehensible. Especially considering she didn't bother to respond to the honest kind words of Darren Hayes, but chose to give Sia what she wanted. SMH.
