yes they showed the human nature clip from TII, and some old clip of michael having a pillow fight as a child. cute.
i enjoyed the show. it was a sit down format, no audience. she was respectful. and she made no assumption she was really friends with him. she wasn't fake. she made it clear that her and michael werent friends, and it was only an interview she did back in the day.
she spoke of behind the scenes of the interview she did. i think it is a good show for fans to watch in the end.
she has a story of her makeup artist (i think) that got sick from eating too much candy all day at neverland and had to go the hospital, ... saying how its a dream for anyone to go there and enjoy themselves and be like a kid again and eat all they want to even if they are adults and cant do that no more. haha (eat alot)
on vitiligo....i dont see what was wrong on what she said on that subject, she was only stating what people saw looking at his hands, she never said i dont believe he had vitiligo. personally i wished michael would of said more in the interview so people would understand the disease more and ...him.
on the plastic surgeries, she did not believe he had to 2 procedures, or how michael put it ''you can count it on two fingers''. well guess what i agree with oprah, im not a blind fan, but she wasn't cruel about it.
also how michael said ''you can read about his surgeries in his book moonwalker'' oprah disliked that he said that, because no interviewer likes that response from interviewees...haha well i have to agree. but she was nice about it. and how michael got irritated by her plastic surgery questions. and that she had to change the topic to keep him with her.
she believed how michael and elizabeth taylor could be so close from their upbringing.
she said how nervous she was when she was going to interview michael from around the world. that she simply was there to have a conversation with him and not have her and michael run through the questions before hand.
she said her and michael talked off camera about his father, and said she rather keep that private, and i respect her for that.
all in all it was good show. i know fans want to nit pick everything she says, but im over it, its time to let go. theres fans who will insult other fans even, and it gets old. michael wasnt perfect , oprah isnt perfect.
looking back at the interview i dont think michael was 100% truthful. and again she said nothing awful, only fans who want everything perfect, would insult this particular show (anyway). it wasnt bad.
btw i saw latoya on The View right after. i forgot she was on. and it was a good show. she talked about dr murray at first, saying he has not yet talked to the family (from what i recall, but then went straight into the regular gabber around the table with the ladies and talked about other hot topics, it was nice. i guess she will be on again tomorrow or friday.
anyway im done with this oprah hate. oprah has shows on people she loves, likes, dislikes, that she feels lukewarm about. why should a show on michael be any different for ratings, hes in the news now. so of course a show would happen. she gets ratings for whitney too.
she has shows to talk about what she thinks. she was respectful to his family, and fans in this one i personally think. moving on.
