Official track list of bad 25th anniversary special edition is unveiled

Lol I'm young generation and I don't know Pitbull. I've just heard his name. And once I heard something like ''I know u want me etc..'' somethin like that which I suppose is him singing. That's pretty much it. I don't listen to todays popular music if it can be called ''music'', nor I listen to radio.

Perhaps he did it but it just wasn't filmed or something for some reason. But I'm sure he had blue shirt there.

Totally. They shut all the cameras off for that song, but then turned them back on for Man In The Mirror :)

move over, and make room for me under that rock.
Current music makes me go :mello:. The only pitbull i know is my neighbors dog... so....
:

LMAO...yes I know EXACTLY what you mean...jeez.....now I feel ....old. LOL...:p

So he didn't perform TYYMMF after all. At least it's on from another show. The inclusion of IJCSLY from Yokohama seems odd. I wonder if that's cos there's something up with the Wembley version.

I'm sure it's because they have the master tape from Yokohama and wanted to compensate for the old Wembley tape.

It's not that they are using a performance from that show, it's just the song choice.
They did say they have the master for that show in that one press release.

They are also using "Bad" from the Yokohama show. So?

Maybe, if we are lucky, it's the master tape from the first night.

He's wearing a blue shirt. I've pic of MITM. And I know it's July 16.

How can you be sure?

No, i'm saying, it's not odd that they are using footage from that show, but rather why those 2 songs.

They chose ijcsly and bad from yokohama cause those are the only songs from the Bad album he performed that night, and since they got those on tape, quality will be superb.

I have nothing to complain about this proyect. Its obvious they werent gonna use all the demos. Remixes might be good.. multitrack audio..bonus dvd...

It could only been better if wembley was blu ray and MJ would be here to deliver it to my door.

But he had blue shirt not black jacket. Who can ever know what happened with TWYMMF. Some ppl say he did it, yet it's not on tape. So go figure.

Any chance Bad and IJCSLY from Yokohama is from a different night from the one we already have ?

This press release made me more excited about the album to be honest.
I think 5 unreleased songs is wonderfull!
Think about it, when Thriller 25 was released fans were so happy with even just one unreleased song.
Some of the special edition albums (Thriller + Off the wall at least) only contained one unreleased song.
Number ones had one new song.
So 5 on this one including songs we didn't even know about? That's really awesome. It's more than I thought would be included.

The more that is revealed about Bad 25 the more excited I get. I was holding back, afraid of being dissapointed but so far things are looking really good.
I think the documentary is how they want to reach out to "new" fans and regular public. That's why other artists are included on there.
It will make them aware about this project as well probably.

They said they have the Yokohama master tape. He performed there 2 times, right? 50% chance it's from another night.

They are the only songs from the "Bad" album.

...which were performed at Wembley as well.
Anyways

But he had blue shirt not black jacket. Who can ever know what happened with TWYMMF. Some ppl say he did it, yet it's not on tape. So go figure.

Why put on TWYMMF outfit and not do it? I'd have been PO'd if he didn't do the song, YET wore the outfit :D
Even if they had to cut it for time, you'd think he'd been made aware when he went off stage to change/wait during the encore break.

Wonderful. Thanks to the estate for listening to what the fans would like and delivering.

Great news, really glad that they put TWYMMF as a bonus. And Pitbull is the best out there if they were supposed to do remixes, glad is not Bieber or something.

If the show was in Blu-Ray, that would be the beast album anniversary edition in the world, haha. But let's hope the image on the DVD looks good.

Awesome news :chillin:

I'm glad they didn't put too many un-released songs so in the future there are more songs to look forward
I agree. I understand fans want to hear as much new material as soon as possible, but we have to keep in mind that the Estate is not just thinking about pleasing fans right now, they also have to think years ahead. They want to keep Michael's legacy alive, and it's a wise idea to release some songs later, to give fans something to look forward to for years to come. Releasing tons of new material all at once would be foolish.

OMG this is amazing, and you have to give them props for listening and striving to meet fan expectations the best they can.

While I can understand most fans being unhappy about Pitbull, I can also see the reasoning behind having him remix Bad. He's a popular, mainstream artist today and if that's what it takes to get Michael's music across to a younger audience and more airplay by request so be it. We can always enjoy the original track and skip whatever we don't like.

I'm not too fussed about the number of unreleased demos being limited, after all they don't want to deplete, but make the supply last longer. I'm sure fans want it that way too. The thought of the day where we have nothing new to look forward to scares me...

I'm so looking forward to watching Bad Wembley, hearing the demos and Bad live. Nothing can take away my excitement at this moment :D
I totally agree with all of this. I don't see the point of complaining about the remixes. A remix can't ruin the original song. You can just skip them if you don't like them and listen to the originals instead. And who knows, a good remix might get new people to discover Michael's music, and that's what his legacy needs in the long run.

Is Al Capone an early Smooth Criminal? I haven't kept up with titles and such of what's what.

Al Capone is the Smooth Criminal demo, recorded at the BeeGees studio according to the For The Record book.

Cuz there are Bad tour experts and ppl with some footages out there. And I know a reliable one.
But this is just my 2 cents, if u guys don't believe it, u don't have to.

Why Michael would wear TWYMMF shirt without performing it. But I hope you are right because I like twymmf shirt more in MITM than Bad jacket.
