Official track list of bad 25th anniversary special edition is unveiled

Guys. Remasted sucks. With the loudness war and all the 2001 special editions have pretty poor quality. I dont mind removing his, but as for maxing out track loundness....

I bet the crowd shots were from another source (obviously), and won't be on the dvd.
OR maybe, they will create an intro of sorts to the actual concert footage with people coming into the stadium and stuff like that.

On top of that again, for the first time ever, Spike Lee will deliver a documentary that people behind the scenes are saying is incredibley special, and will feature footage from the vaults that have never been seen!

It is disheartening to see the reaction (among some) to one of Michael Jackson's most important release's (Bad Tour Wembley 88) treated as an excericse in gluttony and self interested self-indulgence. You'll never please everyone, but for the love of god, be greatful and try to appreciate what we are getting this year.

People are allowed to not like something. Especially on a message board, where people can voice their opinion.

There's nothing wrong with disliking the fact that a heavily anticipated concert dvd is being sourced from some bad copy VHS tape.
All that "NASA RESTORATION" stuff is BS.
It will look viewable, I guess. But knowing that they actually have better stuff lying around kinda bums be out. Obviously, still looking forward to it.

Ok, so like, do you guys remember there were 3 recording modes of VHS tapes?
SP, LP, and EP.

SP had was the highest quality and allowed for like 2 hours of record time, LP was 4, and EP was 6 to 8 (i guess it depended on the tape you bought).

What if Michaels copy was recorded in like LP or EP.
That's yet ANOTHER reason why it would look so bad :D

From start to finish, the concert prolly reached over the 2 hr tape mark.

Just something to think about.
 
Is there a setting you have to check to have pictures posted in a post actually SHOW UP instead of having to click on it?
Why is this the default setting??
I noticed on my iphone the pics people link show up, but on the computer it's just the link.

Somebody hurry and tell me so I can make sure I can see the over-used MJ popcorn GIF every other post without clicking it :D

Know your facts.... VHS tapes were (are) available in several 30/60/90/120/180/240 tapeminutes in SP standard. Recording LP on the tape doubles the amount of time. Why would they use a shorter tape, record in EP/LP mode instead of using a standard 180-240 minute, which were even better available, tape and record in LP mode. That doesn`t make sence. Also the sound of the provided snippet clearly isn`t from an EP/LP recording... LP recorded sound has far worse sound quality.

Calm your t1ts. I was just bringing up a possibility it wasn't recorded in SP.

This might not be the right place to ask this but I'm looking for a pic from bad tour that shows the crowd and the secuirty guards in front of them. Just like the wembley one posted above.

Of course people are free to express themselves but posting the same thing over and over and over isn't expressing yourself. It just shows a complete lack of intelligence. Are you really so desperate to join in that you keep posting that popcorn GIF because you can't think of anything to say?

Since you completely missed my point (which you quoted, by the way), I'll say it again. I don't have a problem with the popcorn GIF. I have a problem with someone spamming every single thread with the same GIF when it adds nothing to the conversation.

Now, as this has nothing to do with this thread (and as I'm quite sure you'll just get defensive and won't take my point anyway), I'm done.

Personally I don't give a shit about the quality, it's Michael at Wembley, I'm grateful for everything we're getting. Think about how cheap and nasty some of the DVDs were that Sony released when Michael was still here, people complain about the Vision DVD yet the Number ones DVD was the biggest piece of shit out. This Bad package is amazing and I can't wait to get everything!

Nah, Vision is the biggest piece of shit out....I don't even watch it, cuz the quality is that bad in some of the videos....The other DVD's are much better and I don't see a problem with them at all...

If you don't like what one user posts add them to your ignore list, that way you would not see any of their posts. Also remember that people can post whatever they want as long as it's okay by the rules. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you can dictate people how to act. Use ignore function like I said.
 
The complaints over the MJ popcorn gif here are totally valid.
Not fun or funny when used every other post.
But whatever. It's just a few frames of pictures being looped.

If I watch it, it's only because its convenient to have all the videos right there in one place.
They should have also done the 5.1 surround tracks like they did with his other dvds.
