Official MTV Video Awards Thread [Janet Jackson, Trailer, Spoliers Here]

the only reason I am even watching this is BECAUSE of Janet and Michael....otherwise I could care less
 
Yea it wasnt the trailer, they've been showing clips throughout the day to my understanding, but this is the first I saw, if I knew what the buttons were for a very excited smiley face, I would do it...Michael looked amazing.
 
Oh Jeez the host is saying that Joe Jackson is the man of the hour.....that all the stars are trying to talk to him.
 
another thing is that Michael's Sony/ATV is getting excellent exposure and money tonight as it does every year.......the theme music of MTV was part of the Famous music catalog Michael and Sony bought a few years ago...

everytime you see Taylor Swift...think Kaching for Michael's estate....1/2 the artist are there are contributing ... to MJ's estate whether they know it or not

But yeah....Michael was crazy in that footage...he was 100% ready. I can't believe what i'm seeing....

You know what....this show wouldn't be as hyped up if it wasn't for Janet and Michael. I can guarantee it. MTV better be thanking some lucky stars or something because almost every other artist that's there (save for a few like Alicia Keys and others) doesn't deserve half the fame they have.

They KNOW the VMA's have been getting poor ratings for years now, and this year is gonna prove to be a little different. All I can hope for is for some more music to get back on the air waves again for MTV.
