Watching this show just makes me feel bummed at how terrible the music industry is right now and the amount of horrible acts out there...

Madonna did the opening before the tribute started. She just simply said it all and i dont think anyone couldve done better. The way she worded herself was just crazy. And you can see it in her misty eyes that she was holding herself back. The part where she says that how everyone turned thier back on him when he was trying to build a family gave me chills. The tribute was just phenomenal. The performers were amazing, but i couldnt keep my eyes off the screen in the background cuz thats where Michael was. Dancing. Smiling. Kicking. Crotch grabing. And the theme "love everyone". Thank you Madonna, Forever greatful. long LIVE the KING.

:yes: Big props to Madonna for that. They had even tried to downgrade Michael to Prince of Pop or Self-Proclaimed, but now they don't. She called him The King. And that's what he was and still is. No one will ever come close to him. Ever. It's like people are starting to catch up to all of his fans and what we've known all along.

I wonder....if when MTV sent out invitations to the VMA's.....did they emphasize in the letter that they wanted all the stars to do the craziest shit they could think of on camera? I'm betting they did.

Madonna's speech was good, Janet was good... but I dont see what else in the show is a tribute to MJ... The BET awards were better
 
Madonna's speech i have to admit was amazing, and Janet wonderful, the face she did at the end was like, " did he had to die for all you losers respect him for his talents" that was her message, she didnt even thanked, VERY WELL DONE!

:yes:umm-hmm. And we all know he got cheated more than once, too. I feel ya. That was messed up, the poor thing didn't know what to do after that. Beyonce lookied like she liked it, tho.
