I´m also still waiting for the tracking number. Maybe at the end of this week they´ll send an email to me.
Can´t wait - I want my Opus before christmas!!!!

Well.... I don't celebrate Xmas, but this is the date they have been using right from the begining as the ultimate deadline. But despite that, I am a bit frustrated. Ok, they never said "you will receive the book ON the 7th", that's true, but after so long... I had expected this to be way faster.

If I could go now to the Kraken Opus shop at London, could I just buy the book and take it home? It's been 8 days already...

And besides all this wait, I am really concerned about what this will finally cost me. I have already paid Opus, but I still wonder how much I will have to pay in taxes to get it into my country :(
 
Still nothing on the tracking number...I really hope I have this by christmas.

Hi, I phoned Opus earlier today because I ordered mine on Aug 12th & haven't received any emails at all. The guy told me that the Opus's are stored in a warehouse in London due for despatch but there's been a delay. He said that they're sent to the middle east to be stitched, then to France, then London. But he told me they WILL arrive before xmas, & we should probably get them by the end of the week (those who ordered before Dec 1st). Fedex emails are due to be sent out any day now... We should get them soon though

I am going away next tuesday and won't be back home until after the Holidays. I really hope I get the book before I leave. Otherwise, that would really suck.
 
Hey guys.. but the special card that works with the pc webcam.....what about it? they sayd it would be added to the opus...wouldn't it?

I think people who bought the book ealier don't get any emails, I didn't get anything
they forgot about us.

I didn't phone the Opus customer service, per se, but since I'm in the book I contacted the person who I've been corresponding with for a few months and he said:

"Hi Annie

Just to let you know, the books are in the US but currently held at customs – FedEx should contact you directly and hopefully you will have it sometime in the next week. [...]"

I've received this email last week.
 
Grr just called the store I ordered with and they said they've changed their suppliers and its gonna take a few more days til they get it :mad: so now i might not get it in time for Christmas :angry:

Same here..I'm really worried about the taxes in my country, I know that it will be a lot. I want the book NOW!
 
just missed the fedex guy. dammit. will try again tomorrow, ill be ready this time
 
Ok, I'm gonna be SO jealous of the first person to get their Opus....I'll be very happy for them, but jealous at the same time...I can't help it...! if I wanted to, I wouldn't help it, even if I could...lol

Yes, we're all Opus-sick....I will definitely be the sucking ghost of jealousy...I'm hoping that because someone from the states got it already, hopefully, Canada wil be soon as well....I hope we all get it before Christmas, that's my wish...lol
 
I got mine this morning!! When I was in the shower the delivery man put it on the front porch! I was soooo running late for work, just running out the door, I didn't have time to open it!! ARGH!!! I can't wait till I get home tonite!!! The box is REALLY heavy!!
 
I don't even care about Christmas anymore. I just want to get it. One day. And I want the book to be in good condition, not damaged or anything.
