I was hoping there'd be a thread on the Opus...I woke up this morning and my day got that much better because I knew my Opus was coming soon!! It said that it will be shipped starting today and that I will get an email when it's shipped!! I cannot wait!!

alot of that art work is just beautiful..congrats to those whose work was chosen...I just wish I could afford to buy this beautiful piece of history....but that is alot of money for me..IDK were I would put a 27 pound book.....thank you all for sharing your love for Michael.

Congrats to those chosen. I'm glad to see so many ppl from this forum are actually going to be featured. I can't wait to get it though. I hope I'm home the day it comes.

Does anyone know if they are going to send out individual emails to let us know when to expect it?

3. How many copies of each Opus are created?

Each numbered Opus is produced in a strictly limited edition of between 3,000 and 20,000 copies. A small number of each Opus are also produced as 'Special Editions' for the serious collector, typically including additional signatures, signed prints and memorabilia.


10. What is the difference between the Limited and Special Editions?

A proportion of each Opus (usually copies 1-1000) have an extra signature page plus other unique pieces of signed memorabilia/imagery. Please see the individual product pages for information on the Special Edition of the Opus you are interested in.

Is there a special edition for Michael's Opus?

It also seems these come A LOT bigger.. wow..


11. How big is an Opus?

Each Opus measures approximately 50x50cm (20 x 20 inches) and weighs just under 40kg (88 lbs). When you receive your Opus you will also receive information on exclusive stands designed specially for each Opus.

That artwork is amazing. My favourite is the one posted by Naad earlier. I'm looking forward to reading the tributes too. I love the diversity of countries the fan contributions come from. Congrats again to all chosen ones! :) I wish I had that e-mail already! *impatient*

OMG OMG OMG! I can't believe it either. My name is among the chosen written tributes to. I don’t even know what they have chosen since I sent 4 different things. I almost fainted 2 minutes ago when I saw my name.
I’m so glad that I actually bought it even if it was so expensive. They said they will contact everyone before but they never contacted me. And I never saw anything on their site. I’m so chocked and I really want to know what they have chosen. I’m so happy that I want to cry. I have to see it myself to believe it. Maybe they just wrote some names there. I can’t Imagine them just printing without checking with everyone.

It was posted on Max Jax or maybe it was MTL but it was a long time ago and they said they wanted it to be a surprise for the fans.

I can't wait it should be here soon I just know it! Not waiting for Santa to open it either.

What country are you from? Qatar? I have an Arabic name but I’m not an Arab. My relatives have lived in Sweden and Vienna (Austria) for generations but I’m originally from Persia. :)
I can’t even imagine how many tributes people sent. I just checked my other e-mail I thought it was 4 times I probably sent them over 15 different emails :doh: Photos, my own feelings and story, poems you name it :D OMG it’s an Official Michael Jackson OPUS book. I saw that its only 18 written tributes. The artworks, some of them where so cool. I’m so happy that I actually registered at this forum so I can explain my feelings for other fans. I visited this forum as a guest before because I couldn’t imagine myself writing something in English it’s actually my third language. I have been a MJ fan ever since I can remember. I was already kicking to MJ beats when my mother was pregnant with me. The funniest thing is that my fiancé is a big fan to. I saw pictures of him being 10 dancing like MJ with the Fedora then I knew he was the one. At least he understands why I always cry when I watch the History concert that I was at. I love you all, this forum ROCKS… I can’t wait I hope the book comes really soon. :timer::yes::)

I second that!! I can't wait to get mine! I haven't gotten an email yet to say it's been delivered....Hopefully, it'll be soon! I can't take it anymore, and it was just released yesterday!! Oh, Mike, why do you do this to me??

I am still waiting for mine as well. I'm sure I am probably not going to be getting it today. But it will be great if I get the book before this week is over.
