Well... I really don't know where I will place mine. I will have to change a lot of things here and there, for I want it to be damaged nor touched by little sticky hands, that is, my little nice/nephew, members of the "I love Michael Jackson and making my aunt cry by asking her about Michael!!" club.... :mello:
 
This is absolute fucking bullshit. I do not trust one word Kraken Opus say anymore.
Once I finally receive the book I will give them a massive piece of my mind

And opus be warned, if there is even a slight defect with the product I will raise hell publicly.

Con artists. I told them today I don't even want the fucking book. It looks lame anyway with stock standards pictures, mistakes through it.

They can kiss my ass. Useless & slow.

Not sure if I should try and get it replaced for a new one after all the hassle getting it. There was a bit of confusion from Fedex and I had made several attempts to collect it from them.

Would love an immaculate copy but I'm already anticipating more complications if I was to have it exchanged.

Thank you! That's exactly how I feel about the situation! It is a hassle but I figure it is worth a try!

I still haven't got my opus yet but I'm afriad to get a damaged book too, like some of you got..I'm so disappointed to read all of this, its not fair, especially after the price we paid for the Opus. It cant be happening!
 
I just phoned them and said about the missing glove...the guy basically apologised and said that they have messed up bigtime :( alot of Opus books didn't contain ANY glove, just like mine. He said there is an order of extra gloves for people who are missing them.

So we will see...sorry, but with a book of this cost...why would some books be missing stuff...or being damaged as some of you peoples books have been!! :mad: How do you make a mistake like that?!?! The mind boggles o_O

I am so sorry for you guys who didn't get your books yet...that really is slack :(
 
mines is supposed to be delivered today , nothing yet but everything crossed !!!!
 
mine has a few imperfections.... but i am more mad about the interactive ... or the supposed interactive capability which is the main reason why i bought it.

very disappointing. i was going to order a second one but .... between having to wait ages to get the opus, imperfections, and the missing interactive thing....

i am going to have to wait think twice before i order it.
 
I didn't find any damages on the book (yet),
only the red cover has some splintered letters, it kinda bothers me
but I think I'm gonna deal with it, because I don't have any nerves left to return it:(




 
Hmmm f*ck 'em! I'd return it. I can't believe these people. The execution of the opus and its delivery has been beyond appalling! I swear... a single microscopic mark on my book that's not meant to be there and they are going to cop it! I don't make alot of money and I shelled out of the ass to pay for this book so it better be in MINT sparkling condition I tell you.

:eek: This is awful, you should complain! The amount of money we paid you'd think they could use better quality materials. Really not impressed.
 
It's so sad to read so many Opuses damaged, this is not right!, I know MJ opuses are cheaper than others, but that is 'cause they're not limited editions, they never said anything about bad quality!!

But is great you can go through the pages!!

Kraken people don't seem to have the same info :p about the glove some say it is a tribute, and others that was a mistake! About the reality card ones that it was forgotten, others was not meant to be included and others that are new plans for the experience to be unique...

o_O I just know I know nothing, not even where my Opus is heehee, maybe it's moonwalking... or it escaped to SouthAfrica waiting for the world cup..

I really want to display my book like this too! But I'm scared the weight of the book will eventually break the box. So I just lie it on its side.
 
well thanks Chinese Factory for your fantastic workmanship. Top quality. and thanks Opus for cutting costs by having it it manufactured cheaply.

by the way, i am not dissing China or it's people (although the govornment sucks to say the least) just opus for having it manufactured cheaply there because it is obviously below the standards we were told to expect. The whole thing was obviously too rushed cuz more books were ordered than they were expecting.
 
I also found some problems with my Opus similar to all these said here … Mine is not that damaged I can live with it, the errors in the text is just too much they could at least checked it before publishing the book … It took me two and a half hour to check every page today … I stopped a few times since I started to cry and I read some of the tributes so beautiful. Mine has just arrived I am glad to say in fine condition and I am very pleased with it. Although hurts too much to look properly.

it arrived at my other halfs house, but they said they have checked and did say no errors or damage whatsoever

he isnt a massive MJ fan but he was in awe, he said its the most beautiful thing he has ever seen... worth every penny !!

will let you guys know what i think tommorow night :)
