Next album is ONLY Darkchild tracks?

Whatever Happens should have been the first single. Amazing song and would have done incredible in that era.

Look how big of a hit Cry Me A River was
 
^^I don't disagree with Whatever Happens being a single...but alot of people, MJ included thought Unbreakable should have been released 1st.
 
I love YRMW and ICLHGA is almost my most favorite song on Dangerous. Blasphemy for those who don't like it LOL!

But I do not like RJ at all. He is not a musician, he is a sound effects specialist. I think YRMW was so good because MJ made it that way. But I would especially be afraid of new music coming out with only RJ at the helm with no one to rein him in.

That would be superb! I like Invincible more than Michael this far so I think that new Darkchild album would be great! :)
 
Ugh, I can't stand Darkchild. Don't get me wrong, I think YRMW and Unbreakable were good songs, but I also think he was responsible for some real drudge on that album (Heartbreaker, Invincible, Threatened). His stuff is almost always overproduced and would hide Michaels natural vocal abilities and melodies. YRMW was actually quite a surprise coming from Darkchild, because it was so pure. I think MJ's best songs on that album were the non darkchild songs.

I will never, ever understand why Whatever Happens wasn't released as a single. It's one of the best song I've heard in my entire life and critics agreed. The world should have gotten a chance to know the song...such a shame.
 
It would be great if all the tracks would be produced by Jerkins. I would be so happy. The album name could be 'Invincible Too'.

Man, it would be dark stuff Darkchild and Manchild holding their hands again...

Thjios being Said, i can't wait to hear the Dark Child Material...I'm a big fan of Invincible.
 
Not trying to start anything, but some of you like to insult professionals as if you could do their job for them. In addition, it's a little annoying always seeing the "Oh it's only good because Michael made it good" argument. Newsflash, but Michael wasn't the only person involved in the creation of his music. If something is good, you'll say it's because of Michael. If something is bad, you'll blame it on the producer? That's not fair at all. If Michael was there to "make it good," why wouldn't he have?

I think it just boils down to the fact that everybody has different tastes, and that certainly doesn't mean that Rodney Jerkins "isn't a musician," because that's beyond ridiculous. I understand that we all love Michael, and it's only natural to be completely defensive of him after all we go through as a fanbase, but it's only fair to look at things objectively.

I'm a fan of Invincible, and I'd love to hear another album of Michael's work with Rodney. Especially because that means we'll finally get Can't Get Your Weight Off of Me!

Oh yeah, Can't Let Her Get Away is awesome. :D
 
It's hard to think about another album when we had to deal with all the drama with the first one. But I am open to any ideas for a second album.
 
Yes please, Jerkins and only Jerkings, Michael and his voice.
 
Everybody at Sony is in MICHAEL mode. Next up is the new OFF THE WALL album with a DVD, unheard album cuts, and remixes. The next NEW album is still a few years away and there have been very little conversations about the content at this point.

are you kiddin me! You Rock My World and Can't Let Her Get Away are both great songs! there not his best but still really great songs.

but it's your opinion and i respect that.
