New Unreleased Song Leaked ... Just A Snippet

Thats a great song, makes me excited for what else is locked away in that vault! Hopefully one day the full version will be released!
 
I wanna hear the whole song too. I wish it would leak or be released officialy. Either way, I want to hear the full version and I don't see anything wrong with that. Most of us here are fans of his music, so it makes sense that we'd wanna hear it.
 
It's awesome! I just hope no more is leaked. Because like so many of you, I want a CD, and that is what Michael deserves.

Wouldn't a "Place without no name" actually be a place WITH a name?
Doesn't make sense...
maybe that's why it wasn't released?...

Why don't u guys want more music to be leaked?

Don't get me wrong, but we ALL will buy the CD's anyway. Right? Known or unknown "new songs"....

And if there seriously are a few hunderd songs, they never-ever will release them ALL. I don't believe they will.

So this might be our chance to hear more from Michael, 'cuz they might not even release this song anyway. Get what I mean?

And I'm not promoting the leaking, but don't be afraid for sales or whatever. Or the same scenario what happened with Xscape back then.
Totally different story, sadly, right now :(

LOL I don't think that's the reason. Poems and song lyrics are allowed to be grammatically incorrect at times to fit the rhythm. He could've just sung "take me to a place without a name" which would have fit too, almost, but No Name sounds better. It's slang, like in the Gangsta song "you ain't no friend of mine" -- a line which grammatically means that yes, you are indeed my friend! :laugh:

I want to hear everything from Michael, I just adore his voice. I also intend to buy all CDs featuring unreleased music (no more compilations, though). So listening to leaked songs is really not a problem for me. If it's already leaked then the damage is done and I might as well make the most of it, it's not like I'd ever help spread it. And I would still be doing the right thing by buying the CDs when and if they get released. No moral dilemma here.
 
ehm.... it's so not michaelish... does anyone agree? I just... I don't like it. Really. And the song is not good NOT because Michael couldn't do it right ('cause he always does everything best) it's because he works with ppl he shouldn't work with! I mean.... why he couldn't just do his music the old fashion way? Like in the old times?
He should have had better ppl around him.

i wanna hear it so bad but its easily worth to be on a new album and i dont want this one to be scrapped

Me three! He sounds soooo gooood. :wub: And the song is just as catchy, if not moreso, as the original. It's just more bouncy and happy and of course, there's the MJ flavor. Love what I've heard so far.

I feel the same. This has to be the first time since he died that I've heard pleasant MJ news that didn't feel bittersweet. This is the most healing 25 seconds of music right now. Pure joy and nothing else. Thanks to whoever put out this little morsel for us all to enjoy. :)

For some reason I don't think record executives will be as particular about leaks as Michael was. Whereas a whole CD might get scrapped becuz a song leaked while MJ was alive, I'm not sure a record company would do the same now. They've continued releasing singles and CDs from other artists whose material leaked before release which makes me think this. Michael may have been the only artist with enuf power to scrap a whole project at the 11th hour due to a leak. Not sure how strict his estate will be...time will tell. I'd love to hear the rest of this song. I'd still buy it, too.

Really, I'm not just saying this because he's passed, I'm a pretty objective guy and will just give my honest opinion: but this song is pretty damn good. I like it a lot based off what I've heard. I like "A Horse With No Name" too. I'm more of a motown/soul/R&B type of guy, but that is one of the "outside the box" songs I like, and this is a very good update of the song. I really like it and hope we get the full version soon.
