NEW Pics of MJ from New Years Eve

I feel kinda sad for him looking at these pics. It's obvious he doesn't want to be photographed. I can't believe half of the comments I'm reading here... I remember last year (I think) when Michael was shopping on Melrose Avenue. He was wearing a hood, sunglasses and a cloth over his face. There were paps there and he was annoyed that they were taking his photo. The lady in the shop asked him what he was doing on Melrose, and he said "Just trying to be like you". This was obviously one of those days were Michael just wanted to go out and be normal, and not be photographed or mobbed by fans.

We don't know what it's like to be Michael. We can freely go to a book store and shop like everyone else. There are times when Michael goes out and happily smiles for the cameras, signs autographs for the fans etc, but there are also times when he just wants some peace to shop and do things like we do. These are the times where we see Michael hiding behind a mask and umbrella, looking akward and uncomfortable, trying to hide from the paparazzi cameras. If there were people stalking you constantly trying to take pictures of you without your permission, only for you to be trashed and ridiculed in some tabloid magazine, you would want to hide behind a mask too. We don't know what it's like, so we have NO right to judge. As his FANS we should at least show him some respect, and try to understand WHY. The fact that he feels the need to hide behind a mask and umbrella says a lot. Can't the poor man have any privacy? sheesh...
 
First of all he lost so much weight during the trial, and its obviously takeing its time to go back on. Or it maybe that he is rehearsing for videos, dancing whatever which could also prevent the weight from going on. He seems happy so thats good enough for me.

Also he is so covered up so how can people see what he looks like, saying he looks healthy blah blah.

Michael will be Michael he will do what he wants, our opinions aren't going to change anything, so you either have to grin and bare it or not bother with him anymore.

The choice is yours.

I just want to see him on stage again, i don't give an ish how he dresses
 
To be the most famous man on earth can't be easy...Michael must feel trapped at times and it's well within his right to step out of a hermit like existence. Also feeling self-conscious and not wanting to be phtoographed and then be judged for your face, hair etc etc is also daunting I'm sure. Michael obviously feels more comfirtable this wayw...so I say more power to him!

let me cook for him. I bet I can get some weight on him. I'll have him looking heavier than he did during the invincible era.

And yes i want to see him on stage again, even in any interview on tv, a tv commercial whatever, giving an opinion on something, anything, Michael just needs to be FREE, it will all be good, besides television will always recieved MJ the good or the bad way thats how its gonna be from now on, MJ just needs to get out of isolation, we need new music, interviews about music, dance whatever, thats it, we need more art from him.

Its easy to take MJ down now, so everybody will have something bad to say, but the only way of get this over is to let them speak, bad, good or like saying whatever supids jokes we dont care, im an MJ, i dont care what they say, i care about him., if you dont like the way he dresses, i dont care about you, as i say i care about Michael, not you!, wow i are you fans or not? The answer is I DONT CARE, I dont care!:p, I will always support Michael.

Hey yall! Steve Harvey is cuttin' up on his show today. He's playing lots of MJ music. Being the comedian that he is he has some funny commentary to go along with each intro. I wanted to post this in the news thread, but there isnt one yet.
 
Haven't read the whole thread yet (it keeps growing!), but I've noticed a trend of some who are expressing concerns about Michael's "personal presentation," and others who are criticizing those concerns.

The rule here remains respect for Michael, and respect for each other. But, may I suggest the Support Forum where those concerns/feelings can be discussed in a gentle environment?

Lets remember our respect rule - respect Michael and each other. No attacking for personal opinions. They really don't matter Michael will do what Michael wants at any given moment in life :yes:

Michael has said in the past he wears it for the intrigue :yes: We simply don't know and aren't going to spectulate.

Let's just be happy about the new pictures. That's a good start of 2009!
 
thanks for for the video startrader. i see L.A has no become holiday destination of choice for the euro/ israelie fans lol.

What I don't understand, why most of the fans and users here are getting into ecstasies over how he is looking, I can't see how he looks ... what I see is a hat, sunglasses, umbrella, coat, pyjama trousers, that's all.

true lol u get a two inch gap from his glasses to his masks and ppl are going wow he looks great.

anyway just nice to see him in a photo/footage and out an about. even though it wasnt exactly a public outing hence the covering up. i look forward to when he decides to go out all dressed up and wants pictures taken.

I though he was done with the "all publicity is good publicity" mentality where he thinks that even-though they show his picture and call him a freak because of what he's wearing, at least he's being mentioned. I thought he was done with the craziness. I mean, I could put up with one public sighting of him wearing a Zorro mask. But now he's back to nineties surgical mask. It's getting rather hard to bear as a fan to look at these pictures and it's getting very hard as a fan to defend Michael against people who see these pictures and call him a freak. I'm getting closer, with every knew public sighting of MJ, to agreeing with those who criticise his public appearances. The only thing that keeps me hanging on is the hope that maybe these increasingly frequent public sightings means he's gearing up for an album release.
