Yea. It's from BlackBook '08. But in about a week her photoshoot/interview with Wonderland magazine will be on shelves in the UK. It's a high fashion mag so I know it's going to be fabulous :wub:
 
I get a lump in my throat when I read of her talking about Michael. I'm not sure why :( I can imagine how much she misses him.

Me too. And I cannot begin to imagine what she is feeling. But how can his sister move on and I can't???

I'm not saying she shouldn't....of course she should....I'm questioning why my own grief is beyond normal. :(

EXACTLY what went through my mind when I read that.
 
Well when she passes, I'm not gonna loose a minute to mourn her, since life goes on, and hopefully no one else does either, after all life goes on. And why did they use 2 year old pics of her?

It's called life.

It wouldn't make since to sit around wishing for something that will never come back. Move on. Janet also sings about it on her The Velvet Rope album.
 
People handle grief differently and move on at different times. It doesn't mean they don't have a life. Everybody is just different in situations like this.

Thankyou so much for saying this. I was beginning to think something was wrong with me. I think I miss Michael more as time passes instead of less. I guess because I realize more and more what we have lost. I don't really know. I take one step forward and three back. That's how I'm moving forward...

I think the time apart from each other is part of the reason why. I remember an interview she did where she said she hadn't talk to Mike in like 2 years.

Exactly! when you heard Janet speak about Michael in the ABC interview, it was about them when they were younger, not so much in the present. A distance was formed between them and it does'nt seem as though anything changed in recent years.

Because that body on the cover, airbrushing or not, no longer belongs to her.

Maybe they weren't close in recent years.

But it is true what she said, even if you don't want to, life goes on.

I understand what she is saying because we lost a family member 2 1/2 years ago...and even though I tried to hold on to him (and it did take me over a year to really pick up the pieces), time does not stand still...you have to move along..even if you have to drag yourself.

Why the hell is Gotham passing years old pictures of Janet as recent? Who are they trying to fool?
 
yall are reading way to much into things and why is it the same people always starting drama in a Janet thread, and it's true, life goes on you can't stop living , that's called sucideal and that's not heathy at all., she didn't say she stopped mourning or she has moved on and if anybody read the rest of the comments , she said some days or harder than others, so clearly she's still mourning.

Listen, don't get it twisted, read and understand.

The photo posted on the cover of the magazine is not what Janet's present body looks like. She was not that size at the memorial, nor at the VMA's and neither most recently at either the AMA's or Jingle Bell show.:doh: And as for your fat comment, without all that yoyo dieting and years of working out, Janet is naturally fat. What always happens when she is not promoting or touring? she puts back on the weight, the pictures don't lie.

Now back to the topic!
 
Janet is such a wonderful , beautiful lady! God Bless her and her family.. I love that she loves God and wants to get closer to him! She is a talented, hardworking, selfless woman! I admire her and am such a huge fan of her brother, her and the whole family! :)
