Need ideas to raise money so i can buy tickets!

Yeah I posted them in both threads I was worried lol!! Sorry :)
Mum has used ticketmaster before so her details are already in there :) Thank goodness.

As soon as someone posts that there are 2 tickets available I will send her the link on MSN and she will click it and buy them hopefully :D

um try almost 2 decades ago..18yrs to be exact..lol..

Sweetie, if I had an extra ticket for you I would so give it to you.. I remember being a teenager and hearing about MJ touring in Europe. I BEGGED my parents to let me got to Romania (yeah rt) to see him and I don't know who said NO quicker my mom or dad.. I told them I would raise my own money but um that didn't go so well.. The GAP kept calling me to spend money in their store..

There has got to be some low priced seats left, well at least someone willing to sell you a tix for face value.. If you are good at writing papers or are really smart at certain subjects, offer to tutor someone at school or hell even college kids will pay ppl to write papers for them. Now that is a $$ maker.. My friend did that when she was young in order to help get a down payment on a lil used car she wanted.

lol still not moons :p

Okay guys I have added the Mj tickets on ticketmaster to my alerts so we get notified when tickets are added -yay! Hoepully means there will be more chance of getting them - fingerscrossed!!

I asked mum - 'If two tickets come up will you buy them even though I don't have the money yet' and she said 'probably' then 'maybe' I know I can get the money even if I don't get any birthday presents. I don't care!

Take up a donation. Seriously. If you REALLY, REALLY want to see him, start a thread or website somewhere and solicit donations.

Call it "Please Make My Dream of Seeing MJ Live @ the O2 a Reality".

Mention your age. Mention your circumstances (why you don't have the money currently). Give the world a little info about you and your family and why love MJ and how much this means to you.

Set up a Paypal account and BEG.

It's as simple as that.

That's what I would do if I were in your position.

You need to get the money fast and that's about the fastest way to do it.

Maybe post pictures in this thread/website once you've seen him @ the O2. Just an idea.

The thing is - it isn't the money thats the problem anymore its the fact about not getting the tickets. If the tickets are there they will be bought by me. I will pay mum back. I just don't want to miss them. And i wouldn't feel comfortable begging to strangers.. surely that isn't right? People can see how much michael means to me in this thread that i love him and NEED to see him. Don't think it would make that much of a difference - but thanks for the suggestion :)

I know your pain! I'm 16 and am getting the tickets as my birthday present off all my family.
GOOD LUCK :D

Hi beccalovesmj :) . I really do admire your perseverance in trying to get MJ tickets - you are just one of the reasons why Michael Jackson has got such great and loyal fans!!!.

I also want to give recognition to all the excellent advice and encouragement given to you by the really nice and friendly fans on this forum. I have a great deal of respect for any MJ fan who tries to help out other fans :) .

I know it is easier said than done because you don't currently have tickets, but please try not to worry as I really do believe that with your persistence you will definitely get tickets somehow. All you need to do is check every now and again, but like others have said, don't let it take over your life.

Please remember you have time on your side and you will have more than enough opportunity to get your tickets as MJ concerts are scheduled up until the end of February next year (and I do think there is a good chance that more dates will be added later due to the overwhelming demand for tickets).

I for one like many others am hoping you not only get tickets, but good tickets in a position where you can really see and enjoy MJ in concert. Anyway, good luck to both you and your mum :) .

Thanks and yeah everyone has been really great! This is a really friendly website, I'm so glad I found it. I would still be aiming for £312 from viagogo - but I'm looking for tickets now instead of looking for money!!!

Here are the dates I am going to check:
Friday 10th July
Sunday 12th July
Sunday 26th July
Wednesday 12th August
Monday 24th August
Friday 28th August
Sunday 30th August
Sunday 6th September
Sunday 27th September

There the ones we are going to check :)

Still not got any tickets :(
We were looking at these ones from this guy we know but they were too high and he wanted £250 for them :(

UGGGG I'm never going to find any :(

No the price was too high for the seats - the seats were the huighest ones and we wouldn't be able to stand up or anything

You can still stand up in higher seats :) I'm right at the back and nothing is going to stop me from dancing!!!

Hey guys! I'm new here but hi!
This is a great place - anyway back to the point of the thread!

I don't have much money considering I am 13 and if I want to go to the concert (which i desperatly do) I need to earn the money myself!
So far I haven't earnt any money but I have got £26.55 in my purse YAY!
But I need help thinking of ideas to get the money because I don't really do any jobs - so any suggestions welcome. I really really really am in love with Michael Jackson - he is the only music I listen to. I think hes so gorgeous and everyone thinks I'm crazy but oooh well! LOL

So thanks in advance :D

Oh also does anyone know of a webste that sells the tickets at a decent price?
I will need 2 tickets one for me and one for my mum who will have to drive me there.

:)

This post is so cute , thats makes me tears up ...if i had money i would have paid it for you , but i havent even my own ticket .

But i think babysitting is a good idea , explain people why they would feel sorry for , but bbysitting at this age is usual .

I've only bid once on ebay but I want to warn you about the last minute of bidding. You better be there prepared to bid because even during last 10 seconds people show up and bid like crazy! And I was biding for a silly small thing so I was just shocked when 5 new people appeared out of nowhere lol. People like waiting until the last minute.

And they have no negative feedback...

thats cos they only have ONE feedback!! I wouldn't trust them. Don't panic buy, there are loads on ebay. And you should really try on here, TM or See first! I don't want you to pay out money and then end up with no tickets! Im out in a while, but I will try and have a look through ebay for you 2moro for a more trusted seller if you really wanna go through that route! x

^^I wish you the best of luck with this and I really hope if you win these tickets that they are 100% REAL. And that it's a trustworthy seller.
that's the thing with ebay though.. you never know.

Anyway, I hope everything works out for you and ur mum :)

Is your mum still against buying off seetickets? I've heard a few people saying there's been pairs of tickets on there recently...at least then you know you're definitely getting the tickets unlike ebay, and they'd be at face value which would be better for you.

I looked on seetickets - there isn't any :(

Keep checking! That's your best bet atm I think! Also, there's Viagogo, which guarantees you get your money back if you don't get the tickets for any reason which would put your mums mind at rest. Good luck hun, I hoped you would get those tickets off the person you knew. Keep the faith!
