My Poem Chosen to Be in the OPUS!! :) :)

I sent in two poems that I wrote as a tribute to MJ, one of them got chosen to be put in the opus book, but I dont know which one!! I also sent like a billion little messages just to ensure I will be in the opus haha!! So ill share both of the poems with you guys! tell me what u think :)

Poem 1

He's Always Startin' Somethin',
To Help Heal The World
Telling Us To Come Together,
Giving Us His Hand To Hold

He Walks Across The Moon,
Til' The Break Of Dawn
Thrilling All The People,
Who’s Love He's Won

He Endlessly Rocks Our World,
All Day And All Night
Showing Us No Difference,
Between Black Or White

He Is Forever Known To Be,
Dangerous, And Smooth
Nobody Can Beat It,
The Proof Is In His Every Move

He Says He'll Be There,
Right Over Our Shoulders
Reminding Us To Jam,
To All the Words He's Told Us

He Tells Us We Are Not Alone,
Though He Is Far Away
Whatever Happens,
In Our Hearts He Will Forever Stay

Poem 2

Thank you for your time
And for your dedication
Thank you for the words
And for your inspiration

Thank you for caring
And for your generosity
Thank you for the healing
And for your humanity

Thank you for entertaining
And for your timeless songs
Thank you for performing
And for all the good times

Thank you for your faith
And for your patience
Thank you for your trust
And your perseverance

Thank you for the joy
And for your beautiful smile
Thank you for your imagination
And your thrilling style

Thank you for the love
And for your melodies
Thank you for all the above
Most importantly the memories

Wow you must be so psyched! I really love the second poem-they both good, but that one is just deep.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! What an honor!!!! I seriously can't think of anything cooler at this moment than to be featured in the greatest and classiest ever tribute to Michael and his legacy! Jeeez, congrats! =D :clapping:
 
Wow that is just so awesome and congrats. I just totally love both of your poems. I can't wait to see and read your poem when I get the book. I wish I could have wrote a poem for that book. But things like poetry is something I have never been good with. When I was in school subjects like English and Reading was my 2 least favorite subjects. And this is coming from someone who really does love to read. It is Science and Social Studies are the subjects I have always been good with. Especially with science which was the most fascinating to me.

The surprise almost killed me half an hour ago when I saw my name among the written tributes. I wish I knew what they have chosen because I sent over 15 different things. I wrote about my feelings in this thread =) http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83178

Ur very welcome!!! i actually found out that they posted the winners through the other opus thread that i started. I had no idea that i was one of them, i juss wanted to share my excitement of gettin the book soon. But somone commented on it and said they were chosen so i checked and there it was :) :) and im glad u were too!! SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
