I think MJtunes has made a one off deal with the MJ camp since you have the opportunity to win tickets at the site!

If a single was to be released (i.e. to purchase) at the end of May, then surely there would have been a radio premiere by now, or atleast rumours / evidence of a video shoot etc.

Very true.

I don't believe you Rickd, sorry :p If you can make us think otherwise I'm all for it!! :)

Beginningof May you would expect radio stations to start playing MJs new track if this is true. So Sony could be getting the promos for the new song ready now.

It does make sense, but we better hear something bloody soon.. Those concerts are only 2 months away now!

I could even see it coming out beginningi of June giving it a month for the new track to set in.

If we were getting something - there is no way of telling when/how we will get it. He could premiere it at the concerts, he could release it after the concerts, he could release it tomorrow. The truth is, whatever Michael does with a new single will be successful and it will be the correct decision.

Do not confuse it with the unreleased 2006 charity anthem.
Originally intended for the album INVINCIBLE (2001) AOL Music and Tonos Entertainment launched a songwriting-contest whose winner, Ric Kipp, provides the lyrics for the song. But it has never been recorded.
This contest is actually confusing because Michael said in an interview with American magazine TV Guide in November 1999 that the song is "a millennium song about the world and the environment". Now this indicates that the contest is needless because the lyrics existed already.
An instrumental that is circulating on the web is a FAKE!

  • We Be Ballin' (1997/1998) (Rick "Dutch" Cousin, ???)
    Ice Cube aka O'Shea Jackson
Remix of We Be Clubbin' (1997), the hit-theme of the movie THE PLAYER'S CLUB (1997).
    Features
Michael Jackson (on chorus), Shaquille O'Neal (spoken intro + verses)
Produced in 1998 in the A&M recording studios in Hollywood, California.
This remix was to be released on a NBA compilation album scheduled for the end of 1997
and was also going to be featured in commercials for NBA's "I Love This Game" campaign.
Michael Jackson was brought on this project by Shaquille O'Neal who has previously
guest-starred on the track "2 Bad" on the album HISTORY - PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
    - BOOK I (1995)
    .
The entire project was finally shelved due to the player iniated strike against the league
    that year.

    • (Master Mix - 5:02, and Street Mix - 5:14) Ice Cube: "We Be Ballin' "
(Single Test Pressing, Post production Acetate CD, 1998)
The "Master Mix" on this acetate abruptly ends at 4:47 and is silent for the remaining
playtime. However a proceeding beat can be faintly detected in the background for a
few seconds. This curiosity is based on the fact that production on the song was rushed
and not finished for this master.
    • (Master Mix - 5:07) Ice Cube: "We Be Clubbin' "
      (Single, Promo-CD, 1998)
This Promo-CD features Ice Cube's We Be Clubbin' plus five remixes and
as the 7th track on the disc the complete "Master Mix" of WE BE BALLIN'.
    • (Cover Version with Michael's original chorus - _:__) Ricky Romance: "?????"
      (Album, CD, 2003)

    • Fan-made FAKE version (4:50 /or 5:14 since April 2008)
      SPREAD in mid 2005
This FAKE DOES NOT(!) feature Ice Cube at all. It mixed the 2003 remake with
JMC Mob, Raz-B & Co. with one of actually three slightly different choruses by MJ plus
      one verse by Shaquille O'Neal.
NOTE: Around APRIL 2008 someone extended this FAKE version once again (having a
playtime of 5:14 now) in some attempt to make it look like it would be the "Street Mix"
which IS NOT TRUE(!) as the real version is 1) professionally mastered and 2) sounds
      extremely different.
This new FAKE had a bit better sound quality as it did not have dropouts any longer.

    • Master Mix (5:07)
      Two leaks of this:
      • (5:02, the song abruptly ends at 4:46 and the remaining playtime is silent)
LEAKED from Test Pressing on June 21st, 2008 (Source: mickyj007 / MJJC)
      • (5:07, the song is complete and has a fade out)
LEAKED from Promo-CD on July 12th, 2008 (Source: Dangerous Incorporated / MJJC)
Michael Jackson sings the chorus three times and each time slightly different. The last
chorus is a longer one with more vocals.
Furthermore the "Master Mix" also includes all vocals by Ice Cube and Shaquille O'Neal,
features professional production and mastering and has superb sound quality.
    • Street Mix (5:14)
      LEAKED on June 21st, 2008 (Source: mickyj007 / MJJC)
The "Street Mix" gives the song a more edgy and urban feel. It's very different in
production, style when compared to the "Master Mix" and turns the end of the song
into an acappella by Ice Cube. It features all the vocals from the "Master Mix".
    • Work In Progress (5:33)
LEAKED on April 30th, 2009 (Source: unknown user / MJJC)
This version was an early work on the remix with Shaq & Mike. It uses much musical
elements from the 1997 original We Be Clubbin' and Mike sings the chorus only two
times here (the 2nd chorus being the longer one). The track contains some vocals
that were later dropped from the final version (some others are missing here) and
      ends with an instrumental passage.

  • Belong 2 (1999) (Michael Jackson, Teddy Riley)
    Michael Jackson
Outtake of the album INVINCIBLE (2001)

  • Do You Want Me (1999) (Mark "Sisqó" Andrews, Larry "Jazz" Anthony, James "Woody Rock" Green)

(at that time consisting of the above mentioned songwriters)

  • Ekan Satyam (Sanskrit title) / The One Truth (English title)
(1999) (lyrics in Sanskrit: A.R. Parthasarathy; English
translation: Kanika Myer Bharat; music: A.R. Rahman)
Duet with Indian singer A.R. Rahman (Michael singing in English and Rahman in Sanskrit)
The song was originally scheduled to premiere at "Michael Jackson & Friends
    - What More Can I Give", the name of two charity concerts which both took
place in June 1999 in Seoul, South Korea, and in Munich, Germany.
It was recorded afterwards and became an outtake of the album INVINCIBLE (2001).

for a forthcoming album in late 2003 which was ultimately canceled
due to rising child molestation accussations and arrest in that year.

Uhm, i just want to hear it, I dont have any "MJTunes" radio or somewhat.....

Hey guys,

im anxious and excited about this, hey RICKD! Can you tell us where you heard this whisper? Is this from official sources as in like an insider, i really do believe that this is quite possible , also that the album are numerous songs are ready to roll now! Maybe michael has got the new short film ready as well.

Anyhow new music is definetly coming soon even AEG said there will be new music prior to the concerts.

Terry

mjtunes have said they will play it, and have confirmed it's not a new tune.

OMG did he really record a demo song titled Vibrat(i)onist (1999)......

................................................

Hard to guess what it's gonna be...
I go for Cheater/version recorded for Invincible ;d

But frankly I think it's going to be an alternate version of a song that WE ALL already know. Like an early version of Is It Scary or Blood On The Dance Floor... or maybe a demo from the HIStory sessions.

I'd pay any money to hear songs from the Invincible sessions!

I hope it's The Pain or Soldier's Entrance...two very nice titles for a song and especially titles you don't see often from the KOP.

Let's just wait instead of guessing all kind of songs.. It just makes me hungry for them.. :p

Hey RICKD can you share what and who you got that info about new single being delivered to Sony then please.

Terry

This was already posted in the 2000 Watts section. And as I posted there unreleased older stuff is ok but any new leaks will not be premitted on the forum - this sounds like it something older though

Well, MJTunes won't go against the laws I'm pretty sure... If something is supported by Michael himself it must be permitted on this forum.

I mean I don't know exactly what is this song MJTuness will leak, I just have my own guessing. But as far as I know the new single is on its way to come out... And I hope so too.

I had a dream about a month ago that the new single was out (which probably wouldn't
be the about-to-be-leaked track anyway) and it was called something like "Crave" (or a similar word... "Craze", etc). I suppose that means nothing, lolol, but thought I'd mention it in case I've suddenly become way psychic ;)

P.S. Oh, and then a few days later I dreamt there was a new album and the reviews were great, everyone loved it. The album title, though, was one word that began with an "I" and everyone kept getting it confused with "Invincible", so I thought it was a dumb title, lol.

I hope it's NOT a ballad about love...but finally something more ...well...about the lesser-fine things in life. MJ is at his best on songs like that. And i hope the production is good too..cause i can't say that about alot of songs on Invincible.

But it will be released at 8pm..so that's like 8 in the evening in europe?

It's actually 9 PM in Western Europe ;)

"Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area."

I tried registering but it doesn't make any difference.

I get that too, but it disappears after a few seconds and the site loads. I can still listen to the radio using the links at the top of the right side column ("Listen Now")
