MJJC Never Ending Party Thread

Some rare footage. This was sixteen days before I saw Michael in concert, in my city (Bad Tour). Chaos at the airport when he touched down (of course).

^ I love how Michael always has the same answer to the question; 'what would you like to say to your fans?' It shows he truly meant it, 'cause he said it all through his life. :)
I can't believe how much he stands out in all his regal gear, it's so striking! He really knew how to dress differently!
Great video - thanks for posting! (y)

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Talking about Michael´s style and regal gear ...

My eyes nearly popped out when I saw this!!! I don't remember this exact outfit, either!
His body in these kinds of jackets and jeans, was just AH-MAY-ZING! Spectacular!

Wow, I haven't seen that piccie before of Michael as 'space commander' It looks like an Award show and according to his hair lol it's somewhere in the 90's

Oh, I love gardening and whispering plants.

I kinda 'broke' my promise to my Muse lol  I promised I would NOT buy anymore plants as my conservatory is like a jungle lol and yet, I bought 2 lovely ones yesterday. Yet, I claimed they are for the garden lol. My mum has a lovely garden who's 'bare' now and so the lovely baby plants are for her garden lol.

I bought a solanium or nightshade (my fave plant lol) and a cortederia which will look quite beautiful at our pond.

That is my "Sol" He's 2 years today :birthday:

He's a happy and huge plant that lives in my kitchen lol

So, it's cloudy here today and we have our weekly groceries.
Have a good day all!

Daryll, that is such a lovely plant you have! How tall is it? It reminds me of one of those 'wall crawlers'...'wall climbers' (??) Anyways, it looks fantastic!
I'm the complete contrary to you green-fingered folk, i'm terrible with anything to do with outdoor gardening (other than mowing the lawn!) but I do love my houseplants!
I currently have a ficus benjamina (weeping fig) in my living room, and it's been going strong for 12 years now! (I know, even I'm surprised!)

Hope you are all having a lovely second half of the week!

Thank you! I love my house plants too since I'm not allowed to have pets in this new Residence block but I'm already glad I can have plenty of houseplants lol.

Sol has grown to 2.5m lol well as far as he can till he hit the ceiling lol and then I thought I'd lost him as he was shedding all his leaves but he was having a 'nap' so I trimmed him and now he's got new leaves and growing fast again. He also has a 'friend' lol.

Some plants are 'solitary' and 'grumpy' lol and others 'need a friend' to grow.

Sol is 'best mates' with my "POM" or my Pomme granate plant and it's like a 'contest' of who can grow the tallest lol.

Though he 'killed' my lemon baby trees :coockoo:  I dunno know is he 'jealous' or is it cause he's 'poison' to other plants though he likes my 'pomme granate' .

Wow, you got a ficus  When I moved 2 years ago, I fell 'in love' with two ficus trees. They were so lovely! Yeah, 'were' I lost them last year. They were just not happy.

Hear me rambling on about my plants lol but last week, I lost my oldest plant called 'Wayne' he was a 'flamingo plant' but he was about 7 years. Yeash, silly as it seems they all have names lol :)

Well, Space Commander MJJ made his appearance at the 1996 Brit Awards, where he was given an ARTIST OF A GENERATION award:

OMG, SIR Bob Geldof looking like he lives in the woods lol

Angela Merkel has been reelected as Chancellor(ess?) of Germany. This had me rolling on the floor:

Wow, you seem to have a great understanding when it comes to plants. I love plants as well, but I can´t have many because my cat likes to nibble on them. I had a Ficus Benjamini until 2 years ago. I lost him to lice, ughhh. That plant was 15 years old, but actually it was too large for my flat, although I cut him back regularly! I even named that plant "Benny", yeah embarrassing and not very creative ...

My family's bees were all dead, it was during the Christmas holidays or so they were fine, until one day my dad noticed no buzzing in the hive and so they're all dead. So my dad has to go down to the same place outside of Sudbury and order more bees again.

Luckily my mom got so many plants to work on for the green house and outside of it for the bees to suck nectar and unleash pollen on the plants.

So cute that you name your plants. I only keep fake plants inside the house - less mess, fuss, etc., but I do love all of my natives and flowering plants in the gardens outside.

moonstruck, you and Daz seem to have so much in common! I see a beautiful online friendship developing. ;)

Oh, no! I wonder why they died?? Such a shame.

Bee-keeping is SO interesting! My father-in-law, who passed away last year, kept bees, as a hobby, for many years and he taught his son (my husband) and grand-sons (my sons) everything he knew about it. We had our own family honey for years and years and years, until it became too labour intensive for my father-in-law to continue. I have great memories of the "bee days" though. There were many "close calls" with bee sting issues, as my husband is severely allergic - there were at least two rapid, scary trips to the hospital that I can remember.

hello hello You can't believe what bloody weather we're having today lol. I'm sure the weather has lost its mind by now. Yesterday, we had a lovely spring day with 12 °C so I was out and about for a walk even in my shirt :D

I got up this morning and to my 'surprise' there was a blanket of snow covering the grass. When I look out of my living room window, there is a 'public' park in front of it. Well, it's a Residence where I live now that came with a little lake and a 'public' park lol. Anywayz, it's freezing outside now and I'm hibernating today lol.

Oh Mikky, I used to have 'fake' plants too as my other flat wasn't really good for keeping real plants but now my new pace is 'perfect' for keeping 'real' plants and I can't 'grow' anything on my terrace since I live on the corner of the block, it's either to windy or too hot.

I did buy new flower buds to plant and two new ornaments to plant them in. A cat ornament and a seat with two birds on it. I'll show the pic when I have 'installed' them lol.

Ah, that is sad really that the bees died but I'm glad your mum has lots of plants to feed the others. I've once saw a docu about bees that if the queen dies, the rest will follow. Bees are indeed fascinating creatures!

This year when 'spring' will eventually drop by and stay lol We'll sow special flowers again in Mum's garden that attract bees and butterflies. They are so lovely in Summer. We even had dragonflies. They are so pretty!

Well, keep warm everyone!

Happy Birthday to all of these members!!

I ADORE Yanis marshall and his choreography. Usually, he dances in heels, but he's in kicks here. See if you guys can spot the "Beat It" moves in this piece.

Here's a Bob Fosse Tribute, with "Smooth Criminal" as the audio.

Scenes used for the video are from these movies:
The Affairs of Dobie Gillis, All That Jazz, Bells Are Ringing, Cabaret, Chicago, Damn Yankees, Fosse: The Broadway Musical, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Kiss Me Kate, The Little Prince, My Sister Eileen,The Pajama Game, Sweet Charity

I’ve been wanted to share this for some weeks and it may sound weird. I was checking out an anime called “The Seven Heavenly Virutes” and I saw a cute character named Michael, a girl named “Michael”, a girl with a guy’s name, she’s the Angel of Faith.

I really don’t wanna say this, but when I checked it out, I got curious thinking could be that our Michael may be incarcerated to her? I like to think so. Our Michael has so much faith, he’s our angel and does good for us, the world and to kids even his own.

^^^^ Your anime "Michael" reminds me of this.

By the way, speaking of female Michaels, there is a female character in the new "Star Trek: Discovery" series on Netflix, whose name is Michael Burnam.

Here's the cover for the upcoming P.Y.T. Girls/Loud House crossover story. I even thought of the title for the story.

I've got exciting NON MJ news lol :D

My fave author Tahereh Mafi has released her 4th novel in the series "Shatter me" called "Restore me" and it's already out in the US and here in it's due for April so I've managed to order it at our FNAC store here. I'm so :woohoo: about it as I love this story to bits and I missed Warner lol.

View attachment 1484

In further news, lol I've had a 'splurge' on Thursday  I'm glad I found stuff to watch again of my fave series. I love "Sleepy hollow" with Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and I love the series "Forever" with Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd)

Stuff to distract me I guess as March is always a month I miss Michael the most, all these memories of 9 years ago just come floating back and the only video I can watch is "Fall again" :kissed:

So I went to the orchestra auditions this morning. I was expecting to play something at first sight but they didn't hand anything in to me. Now I'm like "did I fail?"

Oh, no! So if they didn't hand you anything to play, what did you do at the audition??

Oh no that is not nice indeed
yup, R.I.P Dee my laptop finally died yesterday but no worries though the new babe meant for only drawing has been promoted to net computer lol and what a fine thing it is. I should have switched over so much sooner to IOS as it’s so fuss free and so friendly for your hands lol. So I am now typing this on a IPad Pro. Yes it’s quite a change but gives more zen in your life. You simply don’t want to know how frustrating windows is if it’s broken argh so we’re moving onwards to new heights and new experiences
Have a blessed Sunday all and oh if your country does summertime lol remember it’s clocks one hour forward which is kinda silly but what can we do about it.

We had to play something technical like an etude and a piece of our own choice. But there was this 3rd thing that they would choose on the spot which never happened.

I was so glad when my laptop died years ago... The thing was more like a burden/useless electronic after I finished my post grad.

When will you get the results?
Keeping my fingers crossed!

Don't know. I can't access the site (it redirects me to a login page...)

I hope all goes well in the end with it Isis binder
yeah is frustrating if a site doesn’t work properly lol
I am getting the hang of this new babe. It’s definitely more zen than my vaio which has always been a care baby since I got him.
It’s quite a change switching from windows to Mac but it’s a decision I don’t regret yet.
Weather wise I have done some spring cleaning as it felt like spring today and I am pleased to have an airy flat again so I hope you all had a good Monday

Time for some partying!!! This is my favourite male dancer to come along, since Michael and I have only recently discovered him. He does all of his own choreography and leads others through it, as well. He has his own distinct style, which is very expressive....there is a lot of shoulder and arm work and a lot of crotch work, too. (Lol). In this video, he's wearing flat sneakers, but in many of his dance videos, he wears six inch stiletto heels and he is totally amazing in them!!

I had the same reminiscing feeling again like last year. I keep missing too much of "Hockey Night In Canada" which was nostalgic and fun in the old days and I still don't watch it anymore since I severed ties as a Bruins and hockey fan since 2015. While I still have the knowledge of hockey, I can still watch some old classic games even from HNIC and I can still only watch "Coach's Corner" hearing Don Cherry on what he thinks.

I still wish CBC still have the rights to the "Hockey Theme" and share it with Rogers (even though I hate that company), because TSN still have the theme and it sucked anyways.

Here's what I wish if CBC and Rogers still has theme and used it today

The only thing I see is *fight*. xD

Why? Is it because I support fighting in hockey? Well in this case, yes it’s true.:D
