Thank you MJJC.I support this Statement 100%.

As a fan,i want to try to do all i can to avoid this so called "tribute",so i already spread the news on twitter,and through e.mail.

Also i will e-mail the support concert,raising my voice as lowd as i can to see if with the help of all of us,we can cancel this sadness.

Unfortuntately,Jackson family has their values all wrong,and only think about fame and money using Michael's name at any cost.

It's up to us,His fans,the ones who were always there for him,to be there again and try to make him justice,and giving him some Peace.

Once a Michael Jackon fan...Always a Michael Jackson Fan!

Exactly, reminds me of when Janet said at the BET awards days after his death, that we lost Michael but he was family, implying that we could not be feeling as much pain by his death because we were not family. I dislike statements like this, because no one knows how much someone's heart bleeds for another, regardless of blood. I am sure some fans cried more tears than some members of the family and not because they were losing a cash cow.

The family's past actions and this recent fiasco has demonstrated to me that many fans know more about the soul of Michael Jackson and his pain than his family. And the good thing is unlike them, we know how to plan a tribute.

Personally, I do not want the Estate to get involved. I want them to stay completely detached from this mess, unless they make a statement reemphasizing that they will plan a tribute at a more appropriate time.

I am freaking streamed. I thought being away from the computer for a couple hours would clear my head, but I am even more angry. Worst, no one in that god forsaken family said shit once KISS was announce. Not Randy with him twitter everything including him nearly jumping up and down in joy over the AEG lawsuit. Not Jermaine with his attention-whore self. Not Jackie who twitter pictures him in the freaking swimming pool. Not Toya who can't keep her face off the the tube. Not 3T who had a fit over songs and claim to always to protect their uncle's legacy. There was nothing but silences.

I haven't been this mad since the hearing for Murray's trail. It is almost like this family dug up Michael and killed him all over again to me. To may sound dramatic, but for them to even consider Gene is inexcusable.

I wrote that the family only seems to see Michael as the 'King of Pop', but I was wrong about that. You don't treat an idol or a king the same way they had just treated Michael today. No, Michael isn't even an object to him, he is a name. They wanted to carry the name Michael Jackson and deny that he was person or even an object worth admiring. He was the credit card to this family and today made that all too clear. People wondered why Michael had self-esteem issues, but you would too if your own blood saw you as nothing more than a money scheme.


I am sorry that I have been making some hateful posts today. I am just tire.

I totally agree with everything you said. I have always tried to give the family the benefit of the doubt but their actions are the same over and over again. You can't keep the rose colored glasses on anymore. You try to find an excuse for things and you know Michael loved his family but there is no excuse for this today. When I turned to CNN and saw on the bottom stream of information and it said KISS joins Jackson tribute, I can't describe the feeling that came over me. I thought I was going to be sick.

I seen Jane was saying WHY would they have Gene simmons on there when he said things about Michael in the past..calling him a pedophile...and then Jane said that Katherine wants to look out for her other children and her many other grandchildren. Then they they started talking about people being sued..and that is when my tv started blinking out...grrr HHMM,,I think she has been reading our fan board

I think on the bottom of the screen it said "Katherine Jackson announces KISS..." Anyone saying the family not endorsing this I don't believe either. They all thought it was strange that KISS was a part of this especially what Gene Simmons has said. (Showbiz people)

This all must be some sick twisted joke. I just read the full CNN article. The Gene Simmons announcement was bad but the "its been two years" comment is worse to me. What the hell does that mean? Sorry I gotta rant here but this is insane. That was her son, HER son. Tell John Walsh its been over 20 years since Adam was killed and see what he says. I just can't believe this. Despite abuse, her son make certain that she is financially taken care of for the rest of her life and this octagenarian is out hustling like her Link card was just terminated. I guess I have to give her credit for waiting "two years" instead of about two days like her husband. If only she would have invested this much energy into getting justice for her son perhaps Murray would be facing a 2nd degree murder charge or Klein would have his medical license revoked. I wonder who's the promoter for this tribute, Stacy Brown? Maybe they can sell Joe Jackson neon green champagne, tastes like ass Joe Cola and Jackson scents at the concession stand and screen the Michael Jackson autopsy show during intermission. George Lopez is out of a job, maybe he and Chris Rock can do some MJ jokes as an opening act. Hell if your going to be tacky, why half ass it, go full out. Bring all the losers, loonies and assholes who mocked, accussed and made fun of your son all together and have one big blowout. I never thought I could be this disgusted by the behavior of people who haven't broken any laws that I don't know. Will someone please do an intervention on them and make them get out of the media....

You see even the reporter knew what he said and knows that Katherine is looking out for her children. How embarrassing is that!!! All their dirty laundry is now in the public view. Now people know they use Michael to improve themselves financially, and wait and see they will go back on these same programs that had nothing good to say about them.

Yes you are right Thunder she is reading the fans message boards. Thank God for that; it will improve her intelligence or make people think she is up on current events.

Guys what does Alayasha mean about the 2 years comment by Katherine. Can someone elaborate? I see she is off line.

Didn't John Branca admit he was an asshole in an interview? Now is the time to bring that to the table and stop this family from using Michael Jackson again!

I am so sick of all this negative stuff that family keeps doing under the name of Michael Jackson.

I totally agree with you. I have always given this family the benefit of a doubt all because they are his family. But when a
group of people continue to show their true colors, continue to show they care more about the spotlight and money then I
have no choice but to take off the rose colored glasses. I have no choice but to start calling them out on their BS. I can't believe this nonsense.

Thanks MJJCommunity for your statement. I call on fans to avoid paying for this tribute. Please, we should not support this.
We need to start showing the Jacksons we are sick and tired of their questionable behavior through our pocket books. If we
refuse to support any projects they put out maybe....just maybe they will stop. They say money talks so
let's use our pocket books to tell the Jacksons we mean business. Enough is enough!

From what I remember - Katherine defended her decision to go ahead with the tribute (against Jermaine's and Randy's wishes) was because it was already 2 years since Michael had died. I presume she felt that time was slipping away.

she is talking katherines statement ..Katherine was asked about what she thought about what Jermaine and randy said about the tribute concert..and she said that it has been over 2 years and that it was time for a tribute concert.

They asked Katherine about Jermaine and Randy objecting to this. She says she understands how they feel but "it's been 2 years now" and she wants to do this and keep Michael's legacy alive. The guy with her said that it's on a day when the trial is off (saturday).

Totally share ur sentiments, I was offended by her it's been two years comments as well, as if she was expecting be thanked for waiting two years before pulling a stunt like this.

I can understand why they're taking so long, the Estate's always in a dilemma with this leeching family, cuz no matter how much the Jackson's mess up, there is still Jackson stans throwing stones at the Estate for calling their beloved greedy saints out.

So, it has been two years and the only way to keep Michael's legacy alive is to book a group who lead singer called her baby a child molester not even two days after he was dead. Not only that, you want him to share the same stage with your decease son's children who he may believe was also molested by their freakish father.

Thanks Thunder & Thechosenone. Katherine felt that because 2 years had passed it was time for a tribute. OK, but why not wait till November, or December. Why not get the help of the Estate and do a massive production to rival TII. I cannot blame her for the line up because we know Katherine does not know about the main artists out there now.

In my opinion, Gene Simmons giving Tribute to someone "he believes" to be a child molester says everything about his moral hypocrisy. It's just ALL so very twisted and WRONG. He had a lot of explaining to do. I certainly do not understand how he could look into Michael's children's eyes.

You also have a choice to buy a ticket or not. I know for myself...there is NOTHING about that concert that I wish to see. That's all I can say, and all I want to do.

I do not think a tribute concert is in good taste until all legal matters are settled and at least 5 years after Michael's death. To have a tribute concert, In my opinion during the trial is inappropriate.

yes when that guy said that..that bothered me sooo much as thought he was trying to justify the timing of the concert by saying."see its on a Saturday she wont miss any court" mean while it was like looking into the eyes of the devil because it was obvious he was counting the dollar signs in his head...trying to convince MJ fans that they NEED to be at the tribute. Sorry dude..I wont be there

God the world is screwed up today because I actually agree with Karen of all people. She did something that not even the entire Jackson family couldn't do and this piss me off even more.

Ha you took the words right out of my mouth. I was going to say that this is the 2nd time I agree with her on something. Hey she is right. We have time to do something magical for our guy. Let's get most of this nastiness out of the way, relax, then have a tribute. We can't buy the tickets, because some of us are trying to put some money away to go to LA for at least 1 day to show our support.

So this guy means this elderly grandma will dash off to Wales on Friday night after the court day and dash back on Sunday night to be back in LA for court on Monday. Why do this to an elderly woman when it is not necessary at the moment?????

Yes, I can't agree this more. It's time for Branca to show his expertise and kick someone's butt.
All these went too far. Before today, I really want to think that this tribute can't be that bad.
Maybe they can really pull off some descent things. But I guess I am so wrong.
The estate really need to come out and call off this mess.

well guys..I have to try and turn my brain off and get some sleep..lets hope when I wake up tomorrow this whole thing will be done and over with and then we can concentrate on the trial. Oh yeah that reminds me..someone on twitter said....I bet Murray is glad that this tribute concert is distracting us MJ fans from the trial. My response...Obviously Murray doesn't know MJ fans ,,no matter WHAT is going on,,NOTHING will ever distract out attention away from him..we are ALWAYS watching him.
