I find it funny how outraged they are at something that insignificant (although not very sensitive), when there was absolutely no reaction from them when someone on TV said Michael's kids were better off without him considering the freak he was, and when there was the Discovery documentary...

cannot agree more. I will never understand this family and their priority. :no: WTF, just knew they sent the statement to TMZ? a tabloid ruined Michael's life. I think this said it all.

You are so right. This family has been screwed up for a very very long time, this is just another confirmation.
 
Tooooooooo late to be "offended" by insult aimed at Michael.........


For over 20 years, Michael endured all these insults thrown at him..........to a point where Michael would never read newspapers/magazines or watch the TV..........


They did nothing for Michael then..............so what's the point getting all angry now????........almost two years after his death!!!

Totally agree.. this crap is so insignificant compared to the other crap going on. For one they need to be calling out killer Murray. And they also need to be calling Janet and Rebbie out within their own family for their actions against MJ. Rebbie has a manager who has called MJ everything but a child of God, and Janet threw MJ under the bus. They don't have a problem with any of that, but they are going to call out some kid on American Idol for a Pepsi reference?? It's absolute nonsense and this family is making me sicker and sicker by the day.

Well it certainly isn't funny that he made that comment BUT...there's much worse things being said about Michael on TV, in the media, on the internet, etc. How about we put a stop to that FIRST because we get riled up over this monkey business. It's not exactly respectful, but it's nothing serious or to get worked up over. It was a tiny bite in the butt at Michael, yes, but not nearly as insulting as half the stuff being said to trash his good name and legacy. So I say...NEXT. Move on to the more serious issues surrounding Michael...

well, actually, a few episodes back he said that his dad was a huge Michael Jackson fan, so he listened to his music all the time growing up.

Doesn't matter. Statements such as, "I grew up singing his art." Don't say much after Michael passed. If Michael were still alive and he said this, I prolly were to have a different opinon.

you do realise that this season of Idol began only in January 2011, do you? so he didn't even had a platform to do such a statement before then.
