Ive just today realized that ghost is not on YouTube anymore as if the estate planned to release it or something. I think my ghost video is the only 1 that comes up. Yep, that's an interesting way of presenting the event. It's certainly trying to spin it negatively for MJ, but I wouldn't be too happy in Taylor Swift's/her fans' place either with this.

Saying that I really can't understand the defensiveness of some MJ fans about Swift winning. Records are meant to be broken (and they don't really matter that much anyway IMHO).

Yep, exactly. And even though they&#8217;re trying to spin it negatively &#8211; classic British tabloid style &#8211; even they chose a very decent photo of MJ. The only really bad photo of MJ I&#8217;ve seen in the context of the musical, the biopic rumors, or the AMAs was in a tweet by the British Herald (not gonna post that one). And I&#8217;ve searched every day on Twitter, sorted by recent Tweets.
 
It's like the constant search for the "New King of Pop" (Timberlake being one and I don't even remember the rest). The funny thing is they never cared for their new KOPs, they just wanted to dethrone MJ.

It's strange Swift is used as a tool as well. I don't know her music (I live under a rock :D) but it's obvious she's very influential ATM, so it's not surprising she's winning awards. But the fact that dragging MJ down it's still more important to some than to celebrate Swift is pathetic.

Just realised that if you only look at the tweet headline you won't even find out who broke the records. It's hilarious :rofl::

I wish Michael could keep the title but as i've come to realize titles are not that important. Michael is still the best even though I like Taylor Swift.

I agree with what she says about cheaper tastes today, but that’s not Taylor Swift’s fault. She does what she does, and when people like what she does, and she wins awards by public votes, that’s good for her. Let’s not belittle her achievements. It only makes us look small-minded. :)

Oh yes, thank you! It's not the fault of the awarded (except of course when the award is bought), even in case when they don't deserve it or there's an agenda, blame the judges.

I really don't understand some fans in that regard, MJ is more than big enough to feel threatened by this.
