What I dont get is...Janet Jackson does not need MJ's money she's been doing weight loss adverts, she just done a big tour last year and she gets money every time her songs are on the radio, or there is a rerun of that show "Good times". Its wierd, what are her motives here?

What scares and disappoints me is that Katherine is defending her grown kid’s actions. I don't think Michael’s children are safe with granny because granny can't protect them from her offspring harming MJ's kids. Michael’s siblings are jealous, desperate, greedy and furious they were cut out of MJ’s Will and I think PP&B are in danger when they are around. They will always plot harm against MJ’s kids and KJ can’t see it! The kids need to be placed in a STABLE home were they are loved and protected and the person caring for them won't disappear for days without any word then come back and brush the entire thing off. If KJ wasn't mentally abused as she is saying and ran out on the kids on her own without talking to them than that is even more reason the kids should be removed from her care.

I'm kind of glad that Blanket isn't being mentioned. He's too young to be involved in this, and he obviously doesn't like attention from the media.

I know what you mean, but i guess my concern was that he wasn't once mentioned by randy or mrs j in any of their statements, just paris and prince, when they were talking about establishing contact. I thought it was such an oversight, he's the youngest and wd need his guardian. I felt that randy just tended to ignore him because he didn't have twitter.

One of the most startling things of the past week has been the subterranean profile of latoya whose entire career has been taking attention seeking to unscaled heights. She's got every tawdry entertainment show on speed dial and they must all be clamouring for her views so what gives? Negotiating some massive exclusive? I reckon randy's crew froze her out on all the planning to avoid her spilling the beans so she prob didn't know much of what was going on, but total ignorance of a subject hasn't stopped her in her tracks before.

I never was a fan of hers so I do not know how well her recent projects have done and whether she does or does not need money. It is said that she and Randy are very close, so it might have been just to be an ally to her favorite brother. Or another motive could be that she knows if the family cannot leech off Michael's money then they will leech off her.

I don't know what Janet's exact motive is, but:

When you are accustomed to living large, then you need to continue earning large, Janet is not in the place any longer. Keeping in mind that Michael's Estate is now worth in the ballpark of ONE BILLION dollars, whoever runs that empire would automatically become a power player in the game. Not to mention a possible association with Michael's half of the Sony/ATV catalog, which continues to grow, another very powerful position to be in, even if by just association.

Then there is the thought that she is helping Randy, Jermaine, and Rebbie, because she does not want them coming after her money.

Katherine Jackson had FULL ACCESS to a working phone during her stay in Arizona and could easily have called her grandkids whenever she wanted ... so says a rep for the resort.

A spokesperson for the Miraval Resort -- where Katherine stayed for nine days, beginning last week -- tells TMZ, Katherine stayed in a luxury villa that DEFINITELY contained a working phone.

For the record ... the villa also came with a full kitchen, a private patio, its own pool ... and its own butler.

And if full phone access wasn't enough -- Katherine also had FREE WI-FI.

Bottom line ... the Miraval Resort is adamant ... Katherine wasn't as cut off from the outside world as she previously claimed.

After yesterday's court hearing, Katherine's lawyer was asked why she wasn't allowed to use a phone to call her grandkids -- and her lawyer said he was told "the section of the facility she stayed at didn't allow phones of any kind. Or computers."

The Miraval rep insists ... that's just not true.

Yeah, i'm not understanding Latoya quietness and why Janet who doesn't need the money is so involved. The rest of them are seen as leeches so you expect this from them, but Janet has a rep to protect and she has always been so careful as to not involve herself in their messes.

It's like she spent all these years shaping this "sane one" image and this week she's killed that image.

I bet Janet's PR people are working overtime as we speak. I wonder what they will come up with to try to save face. Will they accuse Michael Jr. to have photoshopped the message? Not good, it could get her in even bigger ish if Junior shows his iPhone where I'm sure the message is still stored. The same problem if they claim Janet answered to something else. I think it can be checked if it's so.
Will she admit what she did was wrong and apologize? That would be the best.

I agree. I don't hate Janet. But I am very surprised and disappointed in her for her choice to get mixed up in this. It's a real let-down considering that I have been a fan of hers almost all of my life. I don't understand how she thought that involving herself with this disaster was a good idea.

A little OT...but isn't it wonderful to realize that Prince could be that power player and handle his empire one day?

Even if he never wants to be a businessman by profession, I can very easily seeing him one day being able to stay on top of what's happening in the estate AND the executors.

I mean, their so-called plan turned into a disaster. They apparently had NO professional input before they put their plan in action and releasing that bogus letter. It's like everything they do, they just go out there butt wild and don't think about the end game.

If Paris hadn't sent out her initial tweet regarding not speaking to her grandmother, Lord only knows what would be going on today. Would mother still be at the Spa "resting," while they continued to do whatever it was they were planning to do.

I don't know how much janet worth but her latest tour played in theatres speaks volume. Her career was in downfall since the Super Bowl. I honestly don't think she would join her family fiasco if she was still in her old day. However, i am not surprised her actions now after she joined her brothers to push Michael to do the reunion tour with them and even threw shade on michael in one interview before his death. What's her motive? Only she knew. Follow Her 'twin' brother randy? Afraid of them leech off her money? Envy Michael's estate power in industry and she wants to have that power to stay relevant again? Whatever her reason, she must think their new jackson 5's 'genius' plan(planned for 3 years?) will help them get what they want.

Its a very sad situation...but I'm sure greed has reared its ugly head among this mess somewhere....no wonder Michael didn't trust many people....its all about the MONEY. Michael Jackson's children, Prince, Paris and Blanket have begged their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, to never leave them again with no way to be contacted, and have told her they need assurances that she won't abandon them again in order for them to support her bid to become their permanent guardian again, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As previously reported, Michael's oldest child, Prince Michael, broke his silence Thursday on the drama surrounding his family by tweeting a terse text exchange between him and his aunt, Janet Jackson, which apparently shows the Control singer did not want Prince, nor Paris or Blanket for that matter, to see their grandmother. In the text -- sent this past Monday at 4:52 p.m. -- Prince Michael writes "This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!"

Prince Michael sent the text to his aunts Rebbie and Janet, and also to another relative, Austin Jackson. Janet responded: "Don't let them pls."

"It was an extremely emotional reunion with Katherine and the granchildren last night," a source close to the situation tells Radar. "Katherine was completely unaware that they had been trying to call her. Katherine heard a much different story about the past week than what she was told by her children, Randy, Jermaine and Janet who were with her in Tucson. Blanket was especially traumatized by Katherine leaving because he is extremely close to her and was absolutely lost without her.

"The kids were all united in telling Katherine that she could never go that long again without contacting them as they had grown so worried about her. Meanwhile, the Jackson family matriarch will be meeting with her attorneys on Thursday afternoon in her bid to regain custody of her grandkids, which was taken away from her Wednesday and temporarily awarded to Tito Jackson's son, TJ.

"They will discuss the steps needed to reinstate Katherine as the kids' legal guardian. The papers could be filed late Thursday or on Friday," the source says. "It's likely the matter would be heard long before the next scheduled custody hearing date of August 22. Katherine wants legal custody back of the children immediately. Ultimately, the kids will have the final say on who will become their permanent guardian. Michael's kids want and support their grandmother resuming the role, but there will be added layers of protection to make sure nothing like this ever happens again."

Katherine Jackson arrived back at the Jackson family compound in Calabasas, Calif. early Thursday, confirmed via a tweet from Paris that read, "grandma's here!"

Hours before she returned, she gave a statement to ABC News. In it, which she read from a paper while surrounded by Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie and a staffer from the Miraval spa, claiming she was "devastated" about losing custody of her grandchildren, and denying her adult children had held her against her will at an Arizona resort for 11 days.

Sorry for the stupid question but isn't his first name Prince or his name is Michael Jackson Jr? I am just a little confused. I have to say I love what he wrote and his timing was just right. I always hoped that Michael's influence on his kids would stay with them and after seeing what Paris and Prince have done I can see it. It is strongly there and I always felt that Michael did confide in Prince.
