YES!!! Ebony Jet 1987!! Literally my favorite interview of his because he is so delicious and adorable and sexy and Oh God, I have watched it so much I have it nearly memorized lol.

Btw, idk if you saw that I posted reviews of my experience at the MJ seminar but I learned the story behind him recording the song in bed! They actually brought a bed INTO THE STUDIO because MJ is that extra lol.

OMG! It was not a joke! Is it the beginning of beat it? I thought it was something else.... .wait, don't tell me, I want to be surprised! o_O Just downloaded the interview for Wednesday. Now I have over 2 hrs of material, going to be sorting through it tomorrow! What fun!

Photoshop frustrates me, personally. There are so many hot sexy photos of Michael (because he was literally perfect) we don't need to edit! Though I know there are a subset of fans who enjoy those edits, so not trying to shame anyone who might. I tend to assume people don't realize when stuff is photoshopped, though, because I know I've totally been confused by them multiple times and someone always kindly points it out.

All that said, one of the many reasons we don't need to photoshop with Michael is because we have moments like this.... 🥵🥵 🤤 🤤 🔥 🔥

Oh not the beginning of song, and not even the singing part, but in the Beat It short film Michael starts out in bed, I thought that was it. Clearly my mind has totally turned to mush thinking about Micheal in bed. Just ignore me.

I'll be honest, that's part of the reason I like these the most I think. In this thread (and the other photo threads too) I've seen 99,9% positive posts. We're all just reveling in Michael and our love for him. I'm personally not really interested in getting offended that someone prefers X album/song over Y because I respect other people's opinions. Fair criticism is fine as are preferences, but slap fights never are. We should all just enjoy Michael in our own way.

Anyway. Have some more Bad Tour Michael. 😁

YES! I also find that certain people get really bothered by other people trying to be positive. I am someone who tries to be positive as much as possible, especially when it comes to Michael, and I think it pisses some people off. Still, there are some really wonderful and fun discussions to be had with others on the forum, so don't let it turn you off completely :)

I know that it is not "popular" to openly talk about MJ being a sex symbol or attractive. But my point is more that though it might not be a popular view to publicly take, it is absolutely a common view in reality. A LOT of women (and surely men) found and still find Michael insanely sexy. The math just wouldn't add up to anything else lol. I'm convinced of it. But the mainstream media did such a great job with convincing us that he is not attractive (I mean...if you look at some of the threads discussing the Bad era there are multiple articles linked of - mostly male - journalists calling him a freak and unattractive...during the BAD ERA) that it became commonplace for people. Yet, his fans always found him extremely attractive and with his fans making up such a huge population of people, it goes without saying that he is certainly worthy of being deemed a sex symbol. And yet....

Oh yah, I know what you're talking about lol. I'm pretty sure I stumbled across that at some point when I was googling "is michael jackson sexy" back in the day lol. Whatever. Lots of people who aren't fans, who probably don't know literally anything about him outside of tabloid photos, making broad assumptions. If you asked me a. year ago if I thought Michael Jackson was sexy I'd say no, because I hadn't thought of him in years and my image of him was COMPLETELY distorted. The more Michael's content gets shared and his fan base grows (which is happening in every corner of the internet at rapid speed right now) the more people will be reminded of who Michael really actually was and they will see not only how sexy he was, but how amazingly talented and beautiful he was in every way 😊

Very interesting! I am also white and I think it, to some degree, explains why I didn't grow up with a lot of friends/family who listened to or talked about Michael. It makes me kind of angry now because I realize I missed out on someone so tremendous when he was still alive! But whatever. My future kids will be overloaded with Michael so I'll make up for it.

As for your other point about "tarnished beauty" I think that's super interesting! I kind of relate. However, I don't really see Michael as falling into that category, unless we are discussing his vitiligo, which I suppose could qualify since it is so rare (interestingly, I have vitiligo myself but being quite fair-skinned it only becomes apparent in the summer).

Anyway, I think Michael is just stunning. Like in the true definition of the word. I feel physically stunned when I see him. He takes my breath away. He was so gorgeous. Sometimes I think to myself if there is anything "odd" about his appearance it is that it is so overwhelmingly beautiful I can't quite process what I'm seeing lol.

Funny story, I recently watched the entire Bad Wembley show with my mom who, as the other ladies know, has been going through her own realization of finding Michael attractive, but is a VERY traditional woman when it comes to finding extremely traditionally masculine, brutish types of men attractive. Anyway, as we watched she made several comments about how he is "so handsome" and "so goodlooking" by my favorite came at the very end of the show, when he is introducing the band. He's playing around with all of them, being so adorable. He takes his hair down, smiles, does a hair tuck lol and my mom goes "God, he is so handsome it's hard to know what part of his face to even focus on. He's just so cute!" and I was like SHE GETS IT. Because that's totally how it is to me. He is so good looking it is legitimately distracting lol.

Anyway, long roundabout way of saying all of this is so complicated, but I'm so glad we have a space to just praise him endlessly for how god damn beautiful he was :)

It was definitely momentary. I am currently absorbed by various things. Old men wailing about 'my woman done me wrong' (the blues) plus lots of gospel and soul stuff. And mad 70's disco stuff. So Michael's curl was a brief but INTENSE moment. But it will be revisited. Quite soon. 🥵

I understand this so much. All of those things that have your focus right now are worthy of such things. But once Michael's curls have you by their clutches... once they have you tangled (Gog, I'm the worst, huh?) there's literally no way to break free. His short forehead curls have me in a chokehold and I don't ever want to break free.

So yeah, I look forward to you revisiting them lol.

It is definitely my word of the moment. I mean, I've always seen his beauty as luminous but this week it just is right in my face 24/7. Really intense like never before. So when this one popped up I was like 😲

Yeah I'm not sure I explained myself too well, or even used the right term; Michael's vitiligo was mostly hidden (though there are pics of it) but I guess it kind of applies. I think I was also referring to the "ewww his plastic surgeries"-reactions that many people have? I mean my reaction nowadays is different, but... well you know the story, hehe. 😁 But I'm not sure it was really a good way of explaining it.

I also thought of "unconventionally attractive" but given all his fangirls I'm not sure that applies either. I guess Michael is just Michael. 😂 He's his very own, unique thing. Nobody can compare!
