Re: What Tracks are you hoping for?

I was hoping "Can't Get Your Weight Of Off Me" but I think thats Rodney Jerkins' product.... too bad

Me too...I want to hear the full track so badly. I'd pay $10 for it alone haha.

It has been proved not to be Jason Malachi, he himself has also stated so.

So why are people still saying it's him ?

400.000 in first week would be great. - is that including pre-sales?

Damn, How am i going to sleep now when the official track listing is going live on michaeljackson.com in 2 hours time?!!!!!!!
"full track listing & first single announcement from MICHAEL coming @ 12 a.m. EST tonight! (11/12)"

'NEWS' REPORT: After two days of radio airplay, Michael Jackson's "Breaking News" scores a No. 1 Billboard ranking.

The controversial preview track from "Michael," due Dec. 14, debuts atop the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs' Bubbling Under chart, which showcases the top 25 titles that have yet to reach the 100-position R&B/Hip-Hop Songs survey.

"Breaking News" logged 1.1 million impressions on 52 R&B/hip-hop stations after just two days of airplay, according to Nielsen BDS. Among all stations monitored by BDS, "Breaking News" registered 302 plays on 177 stations, amounting to an audience of 2.6 million, since its arrival Monday (Nov. 8).

Despite its rising chart status, "Breaking News" logged 94% of its two-day audience among R&B/Hip-Hop Songs panelists in its first day of availability. Fifty R&B/hip-hop stations played the song Monday, but just four programmed it Tuesday.

Adult R&B reporter WBLS/New York spun "Breaking News" once Monday. "Listeners seemed to think that 'Breaking News' sounds 'unfinished' and is not a representation of the level of perfection that Michael sought in his music," says WBLS program director Skip Dillard.

"Many listeners who responded asked to hear other tracks and said that they'll be interested to hear what else is on the upcoming album."

Re: See the entire MICHAEL cover

They made some horrible changes to the cover! Look at MJ in the Captain EO outfit! What happen to the face it was different last time and why are the arms soo damn long now!? Wasn't MLK behind mj off the wall pic? Well, not anymore! SMH

I think this is just a low resolution cell phone picture and actually most things will look better in the original version.

Re: What Tracks are you hoping for?

i voted all except the 3cascio tracks. but i really want "carry on"

Album title discussion

What made these estate guys and sony name thes current album "Michael". I'm really confused about the title; is it because sony kne that there were fake recordings and therefore they wanted to convince the fans that all the recordings are 'michael's' and as such they decided to title the new album "Michael".

This album title is sooooo STUPID; they better change. You can see that the people handling MJ's legacy don't know much about his music or arts. The title is soooooo STUPID; may be sony did that so that you will be fooled to think the everything on the album is MJ.

Your thoughts on this.

Re: Stupid album title

Should they have called the album Peter? or Marvin? or Jake? How about calling it Larry? or Bubba?

Re: Stupid album title

I think its the PERFECT Title
One word only and the whole Planet knows who this is :)
shows how significant and important Michael Is

" M I C H A E L "

There's a rumor floating around that 50 cent is on one of the tracks (Monster).....hope that isn't true.....and hopefully Monster isn't on there either.

Re: Stupid album title

"Michael" isn't bad at all of a title. To me, it shows that Sony won't risk trying to think up a super-awesome title that Michael normally does, and have a backlash from fans or the general public.

And hey, it honestly could have been worse.

They could have named is Super-calla-Thrilleristic-expi-alla-Dangerous! But, of course, that would have simply been TOO awesome to put on an album. ;)

Re: Stupid album title

I love it.

At first I was a little, hm they should have named it after one of the songs, but then thinking about it. If MJ can't name the album noone should - and therefore Michael is great.

Michael - enough said.

Re: Stupid album title

I love it!! it proves that whenever the name Michael is said ppl know its Michael Jackson.. the name is no doubt one of the most common names in the world, but he definitely owns it ;)

Re: Stupid album title

i woud have loved it to have been called after one of the lead tracks on the album like maybe Michael Jackson : Another Day
