It's not MJ !!!!!!!!!! 2000watts is definitely MJ possibly under auto-tune, to get his voice down by a halve octave lower (stupid decision by Bruce Sweidian if you ask me' cause MJ could go low enough without using digital processing). I 2000 watts you can hear MJ's brilliant vocal capabilities, his arrhythmic breathings, and his unique accent. In BN the guy is singing out of tune. that does not sound even remotely close to MJ !!!

I am starting to suspect anyone who says that he thinks it's MJ is either not a real fan or he might be working for Sony...

What a total mess???

I cannot hear, but im sure the lyrics alone would not ! be Michaels, was a bit shocked to read them.
Maybe the composition and background vocals are but what you all been saying maybe this is just a PR stunt.

Sony are saying that the vocals on new album ARE Michaels not saying on breaking news???
I hope this is sorted out:(

I feel like $ony is trying to turn "Michael Jackson" into more of a brand/commodity than he already is.... something that can continue without the man here. Like there used to be one "Naked Cowboy" in NYC and now they are a brand and there's lot of them roaming around. I hate this.... I'm so confused. Going to bed after 8.5 hours of this.

But Sony's Epic Records has guaranteed the album is authentic.

"We have complete confidence in the results of our extensive research as well as the accounts of those who were in the studio with Michael that the vocals on the new album are his own," Sony told ABC News.

A source close to the Jackson family told ABC News that two forensic companies have confirmed it is Jackson's voice on the album.

I just would like to point one fact

TMZ is no one to be trusted and every time they tell lies, we fans know it in a second.
Didn't they say last night they had heard the song and that it reminded you of "Billie Jean" and that it was great??

Well... more reasons to never trust TMZ.

I'm not being argumentative either. I just think this is a disgrace to the legacy of Michael Jackson with this song being released when it clearly is not him.

right guys, we need to pressure sony to realise the tracklist asap, i think its the cascios tracks tht seem to have the family saying its not mj, if they cant prove its mj then they cant be 100% mj tracks.

do u think the reason they put it out to see the fan reaction?

Okay no offense but I think this is taking it a bit too far.
Where are the moderators right now?
I know you have every right to feel upset angry or whatever but to say things like fans who believe differently aren't worthy of being called a fan? Or even working for Sony is just taking it way too far.

If your angry take it out on the people involved in this song not other fans.
It sucks to see the fan community so torn up about all of this.

This is a good point. The family have said they only object to some of the songs.
Maybe they just don't believe the cascio's..

I dont understand why sony would put out a fake? they would have known we would notice therefore not buying it therefore reduced sales.. when there in the business to make money... doesnt add up.

well sony know now how we have reacted, if the rest of the cascios songs have same voice, cant see many fans getting the full album. for to be a fly in the wall of sony usa right now

I happen to think the opposite.

I think anyone on here trying to get us to not buy the album should be treated with suspicion - particularly if they only have about 20 posts to their name!

After all, people like this could be working for Fox News, RF, The Sun, or TMZ - trying to destroy Michael's Legacy after his death!

my head is so confused, been awake for over 24 hrs now, least we have heard 1 cascios track, if they where all unfinished then, get them off the album, ad rather have a cool new version of xscape than breaking news

I disagree. Every song on Invincible sounds like Michael.

I think that if you play 2000 Watts, then Threatened and THEN BN you would really hear the difference - I only listened to this song about 4 times this morning but I agree that I don't think that this is him (some of the background vocals are though).

Sony should be ashamed of themselves. They are liars and they have betrayed us fans and Michael himself.
