Yep, that was the inspiration for Stranger in Moscow. For those who don't know, Brad Buxer confirmed that MJ worked on Sonic 3's soundtrack and his mark really shows. However, he didn't want to be credited due to the low quality sound the Sega Mega Drive put out. Some even have callbacks to his previous work like Jam and Bad. But the credits theme was used to create the instrumental of Stranger in Moscow.

Yeah, I have the soundtrack. Always loved the Sonic games growing up, it's great to know that Michael put his touch on that one. :) I understand why he didn't want to be credited. Shows his awesomeness even more, though, most people would want their name plastered all over.

It could also be that his contract with SONY had forbidden it. For instance, he couldn't be credited for Do the Bartman. Plus, it is theorized that the miniboss theme was the inspiration for They Don't Care About Us' composition. There's this person that does a lot of remixes of these pieces with MJ's songs. I'd never be able to have sex to Michael's music. His music to me is just more than sex music, plus I'd get embarassed by it because I feel his presence everytime I hear his music.

If that makes any sense. I would just feel akward having sex to his music. :D
