Good point aniram. Initial gut reaction of vast majority of fans to breaking news was 'who the f*** is that singing?!!' let's not forget that. Afterwards different people dealt with that trauma in different ways... Some trusted their instincts others rationalised and tried to explain away the weird voice with various excuses handed down by people in authority and supposed 'experts' ....
Trust your instincts i say! They are right more often than not!

Yes, I agree completely!!! I was so sad I could have cried when I first heard Breaking News. Like so many here, I was very excited to hear the song and it was horrible. I remember instantly thinking, "Let Me Let Go".

I'm not a part of Max Jax... Only been there a couple times. I didn't even join this forum til after Breaking News came out because I wanted to follow this discussion specifically. I don't usually search and register on message boards and fan boards and things. This is really the only one I post on.

Tell me about it aniram. I felt physically sick when i heard the first few lines of breaking news. I had to keep turning it off, took me a while to get through the whole song. It was torture. I just couldn't believe what i was hearing. I thought it had to be a joke. A sick twisted one. A publicity stunt.... . It was such a shock. After that i got angry.

This... I still cannot forget the gutted feeling I had after listening to Breaking News the first time. I was not functioning at all. I felt like someone cut my heart with a knife.

I also wished it was just a very bad publicity stunt. I wished they would make an announcement saying they would revise the tracklisting or postpone the album.

I think we should be allowed start a new poll on the cascio tracks. I think it's outrageous that the public can't see this thread. I think it's outrageous that this debate is censored. I think something has to happen.
