Michael - The Great Album Debate

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Lol he's decent but I could tell if it was his voice from a mile off.

Heres Jason Malachi's BiggerMan Demo, sounds like him on a off day, or michael jackson singing the vocals? eh eh let me know what you think. and compare it to the album version it sounds totally different

http://hulkshare.com/qo36c1vvwjjx

I already listened to it. I right away suspected Malachi from the very beginning. But I was actually bothered by the song Carry On (Stay). The tone of the voice could be Malachi's, however I came across Marcus Joseph's voice on "Don't walk away" and it is strikingly similar actually. So it would be interesting to hear the two voices put next to each other.

Anyway in both cases, none of those vocals on "Carry On" (Stay) sound Michael Jackson.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Seriously, Worldwide, is this James Porte? It kinda sounds like him, but in Exotic Dancer, there is this double effect on him so it's hard to tell. And if this is James, well, then we know James Porte worked with Jason before he worked on The Cascio tracks.

Can you do this little favor please? I don't have the audio software to do it myself.

I did a quick one, http://soundcloud.com/pentum/dont-away-jason-marcus

Not the same voice. I promise you Bumper, Marcus is not invloved in any of this whatsoever.

I have no idea it kinda does sound like James Porte, it was in a attachment from Damon Sharpe to JM. Let me upload the other one called you don't have to go demo. Voice sounds well different to the retail

JM - You Don't Have To Go (Demo).mp3
Again, it sounds like James Porte aka Bobby Ewing. I want to hear something else than Exotic Dancer. Something with a clean voice. This is interesting. Damon Sharpe, huh? I contacted him on Twitter to ask a few questions but the guy never replied.

Thanks¨Pentum, as I said, I don't believe this imitator is on the Cascio tracks. But as soon as I have more time I'll indicate at what point Marcus and the imitator on "Stay" have the same pitch and tone of the voice.

The snippet you showed isn't concluding, thanks for your job. However, the depth and the tone of the voice on Stay is very similar to Marcus's.

AKA Bobby Ewing? Maybe this is all a dream and we'll wake up in the shower with an album containing 10 real, great tracks.

Sure, but in the end, you'll see that he has nothing to do with these tracks. I guess the tone of the voice is very similar because they both can imitate Michael in an okay way.

Interesting.... Due to the diligence of Michael's fans, the truth about these songs will come out sooner or later. The dots will be connected and the guilty parties will be exposed. Don't give up the fight!!!

You know, all doubts must be casted off. What if there were more than one imitators? It isn't impossible. The only way to be sure is to do the casting by ourselves and see all the possible voices rather than to concentrate only on Jason Malachi. What if there are other people perfectly able to imitate Michael even better than Jason? :cheeky:

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

It is very interesting because if it is Porte that is proof that Porte knows and has worked with Malachi.
I think it does sound like Porte on those demos but i couldn't say for sure as we have very little of Porte to compare them with.
What possible other motive could Malachi have for removing every trace of his rock and roll hall of fame performance at the mj tribute other than to get rid of evidence that suggests he could be on the Cascio tracks? He did this tribute to Mj, claims MJ is his inspiration his 'hero' yet he removes the tribute he did to him from the internet....
So many things have vanished from the internet, so many people are silent on this. It's not a coincidence. If the Cascios did nothing questionable or wrong why are they not shouting their innocence from the rooftops. I know i would be if i was accused of that.
Do any of the believers not think it strange that apart from the pathetic 'i was there pushing the buttons' on Oprah they have said nothing and shown nothing to prove that Michael recorded those songs? Don't get me wrong, i wish it weren't like this. I watched videos of Frank defending Mj during the trial. He genuinely cared for MJ. They have a long history, it sucks that they have seemingly done this. It really does.
It's really not a stretch to think that the Cascios and Porte knew Malachi. I find it hard to believe they didn't. They'd have to be living under a rock not to. Porte and Frank and Eddie have been making music together since 2003. They go a long way back. They are quite close i'd say. Why hasn't Porte ever spoken or shown his face publically regarding his part in the 'Michael' album?
It's true that on his critical album Malachi sounds less like Michael and i think that is very deliberate on his part as it came out around the same time as 'Michael'.
But his older tracks? Identical to the voice on the Cascio tracks, fucking identical.
So many unanswered questions......

I know what you mean, but it's quite hard for me as all of these tracks sounds EXACTLY like Jason to me. It doesn't sound like MJ either. Heck, Marcus sounds even more like MJ and it's so easy to tell the difference.

Anyway, I just wanted to show you guys this - a small comparison on how Jason pronounced "Michael" in A Hero Fell compared to "Michael" in the BN a cappella. I know it's nothing but it just how Jason once pronouned Michael. We all know how Michael didn't pronounce his name like that.

I agree with you, mjjesamor. Jason's Twitter, Myspace, Youtube (removed the day BN streamed), Facebook, official site, videos at rock and roll hall of fame, all gone.

By the way, Bobby Ewing's manager is Frank Dileo, just to let you know. It's funny how that guy also removed his myspace.

He actually said that when he sings, he doesn't try to sound like Michael, even though it is within his capacities according to him.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

You can actually tell what songs he tries to imitate Michael and not.

The songs where he sounds the most like Michael and where he clearly imitates Michael:

Let Me Go
Don't Walk Away
Tell It Like It Is
Mamacita
Hydraulix

Songs like

Where Has Freedom Gone
Critical
How I Do
Runner Up

Sounds less like Michael and more like Jason only.

It's on his latest album Critical where he imitates Michael less while on Revelation, almost all of his songs he's trying to imitate him.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

It is mighty strange alright Pentum, mighty strange. My jaw hit the floor when i read about Dileos connection. Let's not forget Tony Kurtis, he deleted his twitter and youtube account account the day after he showed his comparison video.
Off topic but i was under the impression that Malachi wrote 'A hero fell' for MJ after he passed? Just that Thad Nauden his current manager registered a track by the same name in 2008...

Difficult to say on this one. However if you compare accents, could you compare "STALKING ME" from MONSTER on 3.57 with "DREAMS" from THE GIRL IS MINE by Marcus on 0.14. ? The tone of the voice is not the same, but the accent is.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Compare "WHY DO YOU KEEP ON STALKING ME" to "Every night she walks right in my dreams"?

His accent is exactly the same as mine as we both are Norwegian. He could never pull of the accent done on The Cascio tracks.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Exactly, it's Malachi all the way with Porte on backrounds and a bit of sampled MJ from previous tracks on the Cascio tracks in my opinion. At a stretch there might be an occasional line here and there that they fit in to their tracks but i have no doubt in my mind that these tracks as they are had zilch to do with MJ.
On 'How i do' it's true that Malachi is sounding less like on the Cascio tracks but every now and again you catch it. Like when he sings 'favourite song' at around 3.02....

Yup, that falsetto part sounds EXACTLY like the one in KYHU + a few more, see this:

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

One thing that puzzles me is that some people (including a staff member) believe that Michael is on the first verse of Monster but does not sing the second verse and still support the song??? I just don't understand this logic. Either the lead vocals are 100% Michael or they are fake. There is no middle ground given that no other artist is credited on the lead vocals. I don't give a shit about how good the beat is or how well the song would do as a single. It is black or white.

His accent, when he sings is near perfect, a non-native couldn't tell the difference. Even a native couldn't say if he's an English speaker or not. However, there are some words that betray. In his case, the word "dreams" is not pronounced as it should be. The same phenomenon appears on the first "stalking me" in Monster.

However, near natives can correct this without a problem, hence the two other times when we hear "stalking me" on Monster is pronounced as it should be.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I suggest you listen to more of his covers, he has over 10 different covers I think. Learn his voice and how he sings, then you can tell. I've known this guy since he hit the web.

Here is the Stalking me - Dreams comparison you wanted:

Thanks a lot. The first "stalking me" is weird!

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

None of those Cascio songs sound anything like Michael Jackson. None of them. Not one single phrase, word, breath. Other than the ones copied and pasted in from previous Michael Jackson songs, in order to fool the general public.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Worldwide, can you please share the rest?

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Thanks! (It's Critical though, lol)

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

I'm a bit confused about what worldwide believes too...

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

Just to get this right, you believe the Cascio songs are fake, right?

at first I thought they were, but now I know they are real.

Re: Michael - The Great Album Debate (Only Go Here if You Want To Continue The Controversy)

at first I thought they were, but now I know they are real.

Really? Even after listening to these acapellas? What changed your mind into believing they were real?

A few reasons, JM didn't have anything to do with these tracks in his inbox or yahoo email, no reference to them at all, and I can imagine MJ singing these tracks, to me they are rough demo's just touched up a little. It just seems like a big marketing scheme to me, if the songs were fake, the Estate woud've totally exposed Sony by now and they would sue them.

But they haven't! It seems his family has been telling a few porkies.
