Michael takes kids to Gary

There MJ and his kids supposedly toured his childhood neighborhood in the northwest Indiana
city before flying out of the area via private jet.

We can pick this bad boy clean and find quite a few discrepencies.
Makes you wonder if this trip really happened at all.

Sounds more than reasonable, if it indeed happened. Stayed in the "exclusive" Gold Coast area of Chicago, drove to Gary (about an hour drive, give or take traffic), took a private jet from one of the smaller airports in the Gary/Hammond area back to LV.

Chicago and Gary are really very close if you look at a map.

Not for me it isn't. I had to find my own way back when I was fully grown.

Who knows in Michael's world-:D. But there definitely are short term rental luxury SUV's around through both the big rental companies as well as smaller more exclusive companies. Just pay a little more to have it returned to it's original location, or it was leased at some point between Chicago and Gary and a driver picked them up and then returned the SUV to original location after taking them to the waiting private jet.

(Sorry, it's pouring down rain outside right now and I'm keeping myself busy on the computer until it lets up. Don't mean to sound like I actually know what the scenario was, just puttin' in my 2 cents on possible scenarios. Although I am tending to believe this supposed visit above some of the other stuff we've heard lately ie NYC, LA, etc.)

Hmmmm... I noticed that as well. Because, according to Norm, Michael and his children were seen eating at some place on a Wednesday of this week. (In Vegas) He and the kids went to Chicago then Gary on a Tuesday of this week. He took a jet back to Vegas. It is possible that it happened and it may be possible that it did not happen.

That's true. When Michael was a kid living with his family in Gary, they used to drive from Indiana to Chicago all the time for talent competitions.
 
um....so wasn't his ass just in lv on wednesday? lol

the gold coast casino chain also includes the orleans so maybe he stayed there. he was there for the magic convention a yr or so ago...

but sam's town, gold coast, and the suncoast suuuuuuuuuck....

At first I thought they meant Gold Coast Casino/Hotel Vegas :lmao: I'm dying of laughter! Driving from Vegas to Gary...NOT Obviously Chicago to Gary...who knows if it's true since there isn't anything really to confirm or deny it. I think it's doubtful since he seems to spend most of his time in Vegas as of late working in the studio.

Zucker is a pretty credible reporter and the Sun-Times is a major paper in Chicago. Gold coast refers to the section of lakefront properties and hi-rises north of the downtown area. Very pricey hotels there.

Gary is like driving to a suburb from Chicago. Takes about 40 mins in good traffic. I have to go there for business.

Also Gary has a regional airport. Hi rollers come in to go to the casinos there. Very plausible that he flew out from there by private jet.

Hmmm... I would have been in Gary about the same time if I didn't have to be in DC all week last week. Interesting...
 
According to one of my MySpace friends who is actually a big MJ fan too, Katherines stepmother is ill and lives outside of Gary, IN near Chicago. She told me that Katherine was here in Indiana visiting because they believe she (the stepmother) is dying. So it is likely that if Michael was there that would have been the main reason I would think. Has anyone else heard this sad information?

note that it said the gold coast HOTEL but since he lives in lv...y wouldhe be dropping in town if that's where he lives?

I imagine the scene by every words you put in here...that only I can do now when read the article of him. It could be one of the best memories the kids have with his dad
