Usually when celebs make advertisment of something on twitter they'll get paid for it. For instance it was revelead last year that Kim Kardashian got $10K for every tweet she posted as part of her contract. I wonder if its the same case with LaToya, PPB and all other celebs attending the launch.

"The latest issue of New York Magazine, out on stands Monday, reports that celebs like Kim Kardashian, Snoop Dogg and even Charlie Sheen have all made bank in the tens of thousands for endorsing major companies like Toyota, Best Buy and American Airlines on Twitter.

Below, a quick roundup of the listed numbers:

Kim Kardashian: $10,000, for companies like Shoedazzle.com.
Snoop Dogg: $8,000 per tweet.
Paula Abdul: $5,000 per tweet.
Whitney Port: $2,500 per tweet.
Charlie Sheen: $50,000 per tweet, for companies like Internships.com"

The day when LaToya is exposed for using kids, we'll see she is going to put on blame to Jaffre. No doubt she'll say he made me to do it. She is disgusting.

I think LaToya made similar deal with Mr Pink (or whatever is the name) than for Cardiff concert. The deal is she'll deliver PPB and put them out there to advertise this campaign, and she will collect the money.
 
One day these companies will stop exploiting them when they realize that "Michael Jackson's kids" isn't as profitable as they had hoped. Sure, people may like to point and stare at them like they are some sort of circus attraction but it hasn't translated into successful sales for any of the crap they have been forced to promote.
Unfortunately, the Jackson family continues to cheapen any quality endorsement potential they may have as adults bc they are associating themselves with all things cheap and tacky.

I don't think that is going to happen, didn't Paris and Prince way that they wanted a career in entertainment business?
If they do go in to entertainment, there is going to be even more talk as now they are Michael's kids, but then they'll be Michael's kids and probably movie stars or what ever they decide to become. In any way, it will be rocky road for them. They should be left alone and enjoy their childhood and carefree time as long as possible. They have lifetime ahead of them to get their marketing education without any help from greedy family members.

Out of curiosity, I checked LaToya's Ja-Tail if this drink endorsement has appeared in their website with kids faces blasted all over, not yet, but I did find this:

I agree about the part about the kids brand being cheapened, but I don't see these z-list companies at anytime soon stop being under some silly delusion that trotting these kids out like circus animals will in some way help sell their crappy products. Especially when they do at least get that easy mention on the kids twitters and unfortunately probably a mention in the media.
 
Watch again, they are gonna keep tweeting about this until the day of the event which is Thursday. I bet you they don't even drink this Mr.Pink beverage.

Also I'm a little worried about Blanket. He HATES the spotlight & attention and just wants to be a kid [just like Mike wanted all three of his kids to be] but the Jackson's keep putting them out there.

Another thing is that BOTH Katherine & TJ (the kids guardians] won't be attending this HOLLYWOOD event at all and they both are legally responsible for the all three of them...
 
I wanna believe children are still very young to fully comprehend the extent of the explotaition they're going through and over time they'll realize...

I truly try not to state my opinion as it is none of my business but I have to say that I am deeply concerned about this. With that said we do not know what the kids think. Yes they are influenced by their family members no doubt but I would hope that if they really didn't want to partake they would say so. I don't know.

I can't blame anyone for being concerned about the kids welfare when it comes to exploitation as it does seem that this could be the case. I just pray that they are protected by someone who has their best interests in mind; whomever that may be. Perhaps it will be Michael in some way. Even if they attend the event, maybe they will learn a valuable lesson. Life is about learning lessons and just because they are Michael's kids, we can't expect that they won't encounter these types of lessons. I know they are young but perhaps it could be best if they learn now rather then later. Doing so would prevent the kids from being taken advantage later on when they are older and can make decisions for themselves. I am keeping the faith something positive will come out of all this.
 
Oh Oh ^^ those kids need a guardian who will scrutinize business enterprises before the kids become involved. Anyway should children endorse products, especially if they know nothing about it?

If he is the guardian, he already knows and is ok with it. I do not think he will act much different from grandma as long as no one tries to take his guardianship away.

It is obvious that they have script to follow what they need to say in twitter.

I don't think TJ sees anything wrong using kids for advertising stuff for family members, after all he too is bought up with "family first" mantra. He is no better than any other family member, didn't Paris tweeted about his new single when it came out?

There must be something we can do? Perhaps we could contact on Jen Heger from Radaronline to do an article about LaToya using kids. We can give her list of things LaToya has done for example, how Cardiff concert ended. If (with MJJC approval) we could give Andy P Q& A replies to our queries, how Latoya delivered Katherine, who in turn delivered kids, how Jackson's got paid but not staff, no money for kids trust that they said to set up, no money to charity.
Then we could take print screens of kids tweets with LaToya's, and other things?

This kids exploitation got to stop from Jackson family. They are not living in Gary Indiana any longer so there is no need to get out of slum, which was their excuse when they sold Michael.

I just feel humiliated on ppb's behalf. The 'pink carpet' is going to be horrible with lindsey lohan and assorted d-listers.
 
I wonder if kids know what Latoya has been saying about their father in 1993?????? If they do -how do they feel about it? If they don't - omg, they will be for a rude awakening when they will find out...

sadly no! Spike lee even tweeted paris( must be ignored by paris at the time) and retweeted her again a few days later to ask her feedback and approval of bad25, all ignored by Paris ( i really hope she at least replied him in private. It's kinda rude if she didn't.)
 
That is rude if she didn't respond to him. I assume he gave them a copy to watch it. I don't get what is so special about this drink that they are promoting.
 
I asked Paris on her formspring about the new songs, live show and the documentary. She has responded me some questions before... at least I tried. And I don't get the excitement about that beverage either... :thinking:
 
Those tweets are good promo. Let's see how many people will be there, but LaToya should be aware that if people show up it's because of the kids & not for the drink. And the kids should know that if people want to see them is only because they're Michael's children. I know Paris & Prince want to be in movies and I wish them success, but I wish more that they open their eyes & realize that their dear Aunt are using them to bring the crowd. If she really wants to help her niece & nephew she could try getting them some roles in a Disney movie or with any other respectable company. Their dad would have tried to hook them with the best, why can't LaToya at least try?
 
If they do learn and see what is really going on it will have to be the hard way unfortunately.
 
I've got the feeling it's gonna be in the hard way and I feel frustrated and useless we can't do nothing about it. There's no use warning them because they'll completely ignore us! :sigh:
