Katherine Jackson has figured out a way to make some cash and not piss off the Michael Jackson Estate -- hitch a ride with another brother.

Katherine will join Michael's Bro, Tito Jackson, in Atlanta for New Year's Eve ... appearing at the 22nd Annual Peach Drop New Year's Eve Celebration.

Tito will perform some Jackson 5 songs, along with a couple of songs from his upcoming album, "So Far, So Good."

According to the Peach Drop website, Katherine and Tito will do the New Year's Eve countdown
 
I don't support the "family"..........

But that article is totally twisted.............

So is it wrong for a mother to see her son perform????.............and where does it say that Katherine is profiting from all this???..........TMZ just make you think that with the title of the article!!!!
 
she isn't going to watch Toto, she is making an appearance, both of them will do the countdown
 
What the article is making it sound like is that Katherine is now jumping on another one of her children to make a profit and not Michael.

I say let Michael rest in peace and go bother Tito, Janet or Jermaine for money.

Sadly i think even if mrs jackson asked them for money they would say "i dont any money blah blah blah"

TMZ is pure evil. Celebrities do this stuff all the time and, no one blinks an eye. Because it's the jacksons tmz makes it negative just to get a rise out of the haters.
 
Before MJ passed, we never heard of his mother doing this kinda thing...It is pretty disturbing what's been going on since June 25th. A complete 180....Makes you wonder how much was faked to be kept in his good grace/money train.

For the life of me, I can't reconcile what's been going on.

yeah... me too. sad sad times...

I used to believe Michael's family was supportive during the trial (going with him to court) because they cared for him, but now I am this close to thinking that some of them were there just for the TV cameras.

The cameras played a big role, it wasn't just the cameras though it was the cams and the fact that they could put even more pressure on him to do one of those silly idiotic reunion tours. ( e.g we supported you the least you can do ... )


Joe and KAtherine demanding to get paid for an interview during the trial, told me right then and there that something was seriously wrong with these people.
 
News Years is a holiday. She should not be doing a New Years Eve party. She would b in trouble. This makes me skeptical of the story. I really hope this is not true.
 
Sad how TMZ (Michael haters) stories are suddenly worthy of attention since June 25. Not taking any sides, it's just that one of the worst tabloids of all is getting the attention they'd kill for. There's an increasing love for controversy and mostly negative debates and bashings.

it's even sadder that TMZ being the worst tabloid out there is reporting true info about the Jacksons for the most part. I wish TMZ were wrong in many of their reports. but sadly most of their info turns out to be correct.

Perfect symbiosis.

They sell the stories...TMZ gets the hits.

In this case...free publicity for the event. Tito & Jodi Gomes have been promoting it all over Twitter....now adding TMZ=great promotion.

Few months ago I read some interview with Tito and his said one thing which really stuck in my head for a long time.
“After the verdict, we went back to Neverland. Michael thanked me so much for supporting him. He told me he loved me so much and said he was especially proud because I never wanted anything from him but love.

“He said to me, ‘TT, I have a gift for you’. I said, ‘Michael, you don’t have to give me a gift’.

“But he said, ‘No, I really want to give you something because you never ask for anything.

“He was really persistent and kept saying, ‘Come here, come here, come here’.

“He walked me over to his garage and he had two Bentleys and he said, ‘Pick the one you want’.

“That’s the kind of guy he was. I chose the one that he had signed inside the car. It’s beautiful. I’ve still got it.”

Memefan - I am right beside you more often than not when it's the JACKSONS. I try to be fair, and not pile on. Here TMZ is deliberately trying to escalate the bickering among MJ fans.

The media gleefully tried to destroy MJ. The Jacksons are no longer buried in MJ'S shadow. And although the Jacksons are behaving badly, we must not overlook the media's agenda.

i understand your point...but i cannot in good conscience criticize TMZ when we all know some of the Jacksons are their inside sources.


They cannot have it both ways...Make $ selling their stories to TMZ & co...and then cry foul.

Quite frankly, i am too disgusted by their behaviour to defend them...even when the press is in the wrong.

i just want them to leave mj3 and mj alone that is all,everything is so sickening.
i think these folks are always like this but media was so busy with Michael no one paid attention to them but now Michael is gone ,every one is seeing their true color,especially katherine ,she is loosing her credibility with her every move .before people use to blame joe but now we all are seeing different picture.

ouch. but frankly aslong as the kids arent being paraded out to fund another mann venture then id rather her be doing this. if the kids get dragged along well thats another issue

and the new year has nothing to do with being a JW. they dont celebrate events etc that come from pagan backgrounds ie birthdays xmas etc. new year is new year.maybe im wrong (theres jw members who can tell us)

Something to do with the libel laws we have here and 'libel tourism'. It's all a bit odd. You go to the front page and says 'due to laws in your region you cannot access this website.'
 
I think some in the family are genuine but I think others have that showbiz mentality in their heads. Wanting to get the next gig or something. I really do try to understand his family but sometimes you can't help but wonder what is going on.

Oh the show must go on definitely for most of them. I don't think any of them actually grieved or mourned for MJ. Janet went right back to work the next day after the memorial didn't she? Jermaine went across the country and tried to sing songs and LaToya was in every foreign country there is. It is sad. I know MJ's kids miss him terribly but as far as MJ's siblings and parents I just don't know about them.
