Michael Jackson: The Experience - Discussion News And Updates Thread

The moves are original, but they have to be repetitive that way you have something to dance to for 3 minutes or however long the song is.If you watch any of MJs dances, there very quick, probably a minute long.So ubisoft is actually doing a good job with this game. The only song I can think of were MJ actually dances through the whole song is Dangerous Live.

That is very true, Im extremely impressed with the Kinect choreography so far, and like you stated Michael have a very free way of dancing, as he said, Thinking is the worst thing to do when dancing, and The Dangerous performance and a few others are heavily choreographed, but most are not, I too am extremely impressed with Ubisoft so far...

Well I'm getting the game when it comes out in 2 months...

No offence to anyone who has the Xbox Kinect, but the game looks terrible!! The graphics are awful, and the dancing seems very slow, lazy and nowhere near the original moves. I would have to say the Wii version is DEFINATELY better than how the Kinect version is looking.

i agree with that,

i wanna see michael jackson dancing
not a bad figure not dancing at all...

I want screen shots for the ps3 and more info about it!! I hope they aint gona do a psp with us and keep it all quiet untill release date!

started playin the wii game again cos of the hype in the last few days over the new clips- gonna be SO much better. i love the fact theres a singing part in ghosts!!!!

I absolutley agree with your statement!

Thanks for doing a great job ubisoft!

Watch the preview clip of ghosts... When the guy dancing in the front passes the microphone to the girl, if u notice on the screen it says now SING!!!

^Yep, However for the Kinect version, some songs will just be singing such as Heal The World. Black Or White and Ghosts however are both...

That is so no fair!! :banghead:

i have the wii one and i so badly wish they did that for the wii game.

^Well, Their will be 30+ songs on the Kinect version, more than the Wii one, so their will be more songs, Blood On the Dance floor and I Just Cant Stop Loving You are two...

Ubisoft’s Dance Games Booming, Expect More Michael Jackson

By Ishaan . February 14, 2011 . 1:26pm

As you might have guessed after seeing the NPD chart for November and December, Ubisoft’s dance games are booming. In the third quarter of their ongoing fiscal year alone, Ubisoft’s dance titles (Just Dance, Just Dance 2, Just Dance Kids, Michael Jackson: The Experience and Dance on Broadway) sold over 10.5 million units.

While Just Dance 2 is a Wii-exclusive game, Michael Jackson: The Experience is currently available on Wii, DS and PSP, with Kinect and PlayStation Move versions slated to release in April. Taking all these versions into account, Ubisoft hope to cross sales of 4 million units with Michael Jackson.

Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, also confirmed during an investor Q&A earlier today, that we’d be seeing more versions of Michael Jackson: The Experience “over the next couple of years” and that we can expect to see the Just Dance franchise expand to other platforms.

Since when were dancing/singing games about the graphics anyway? And on the Kinect version you actually see MJ clips in the background, in motion. Sorry but i take that over a impersonator ANY day. Kinect looks FAR better.

the wii version is great, but the kinect version will Wii all over the wii version.....
