Got my MJ Wii game last night (I was like "Finally~!" because we were waiting for a few days wondering what's taking so long in the mail), but it was already too late to play it at night, but my sister and I played it today for like 5 and a half hours! Literally. We recorded ourselves too, so maybe we can upload it on Youtube like many others are (if you search, there's tons of vids of people trying out the game! :) ) You just get into the game, and overall it's really fun. Sure, there can be improvements, but I think it's an awesome. We had fun, and after every song, I swear, you can feel the burn from dancing. :lol: Good workout method in a way. I'm tired from today.

My fave so far, is Ghosts, They Don't Care About Us (I got all 5 stars, GO ME! :lol: Like over 10000 pts), Speed Demon, Smooth Criminal, WYBT, and Billie Jean. Augh, I don't remember how much songs we did, but oh well. :lol: Going to play it more once these next couple weeks of finals are over! :D

These show demontrate the game for 15 minutes. By looking at this it made me realize how i really wanna see how the Kinect version turns out. Cause unlike in the WII and PS3 version, in the Kinect version you will be using your full body. So those dance moves during Billie Jean and such....you do all of that on that version. While i only see hand moves during this WII quick look.

can someone tell me when the ds version is released please in the uk?i,ve been to asda and tesco where they usually have the new games,i thought it was released today 29th but i,ve been there and its not there,they all have them available online,but i wanna know when it will be available in the stores,hmv also have it to order online,but i don,t wanna go there if it,s not in,
any info would be welcomed thankyou.

It's released in Ireland I saw it in tesco, and we are considered part of the uk Market
So, i dunno?

None of the songs on the game follow an exact video or concert routine, but Billie Jean does have the moonwalk like in his live performances!

To be honest the only reason why I am not getting the game is because the dancer who did the game doesn't move like Michael.. does things very wrong, not to mention like a lefty where Michael is a righty.. does things backwards and wrong.. I'm not trying to hate but I'd rather watch Michael and impersonate his moves that way.. It would have been better if they computer generated his actual movements in from various video footage.

I don't have Wii or anything like that but my friend got it. She and her daughter love it! They get a great workout lol and it's a lot of fun. I told her I want to see it someday.

Not sure, but looks a hell a lot like Travis Payne! Not to crazy about the movements My self but, I still want the game!

Watched the 15 minute gameplay demonstration, and I dont know..I want to like it..but..it doesnt actually feature Michael Jackson "moves". It has a lot of repetitive movements that make it look like aerobics. I actually felt a little embarassed watching it because I felt like those who aren't familiar with MJ's videos, as hard is it may be to believe, will get the impression that this is how Michael dances in his short films. It just seems a bit lame. I think it would have been better if they actually used choreography from the real videos and simply slowed it down so people can follow. But I'm still on the fence about it. If someone can convince me otherwise, please do..

haha, I'm just waiting to see poeple on dancefloors going "look what I learned this weekend from the new MJ game" and bust out some repetetive odd dance moves:D.. Anyways, I'm waiting for more Kinect footage before I do any decision about the game... Wonder if the xbox version will come with a 5.1 audio mix like Guitar Hero and such? would be nice to get acapellas from the tracks..

Duhh!! People yall Should know that the dance is going to be key word: SIMPLE 4 Everybody to play. Not just the "Hardcore" fans but the "Causal" fans as well. Look 3 of my family members who are NOT Michael's fans real real enjoy the game it was Sooo fun AND involves the Whole family.

LOL, wish some people would relax about the game, the game is fun, brings everyone together, its not a Michael Jackson simulator, most of Mikes moves would be far too difficult for the general player, so they've got to bring in some other easy moves, plus I don't think it would be as enjoyable as it is now. Just enjoy for what it is.

exactly what im thinking, im struggling just with the wii remote, i wouldnt enjoy it if had the full mj moves (to hard for me)! the whole point of the fun!

i think the move will be the most fun out of the three, i think kinect will be to extreme, i wouldnt be able to do my feet work and arm work in a game!

I bought the MJ experience on DSi a few days ago and it's sooo good! I'm very pleased! However, I got upset thinking how Michael would have loved this and he's not here...
 
Michael Jackson goes on tour
Legend lives on through new Ubisoft game and nationwide shopping centre promotions

The King of Pop might not be around to see it, but his new video game is causing a storm Ubisoft has taken Michael Jackson: The Experience on the road to promote it with Just Dance 2 in a range of UK shopping centres. across the country.

Jackson’s dancing game was released last Friday (November 26th) on Wii, DS and PSP, and Ubisoft is hoping the tour will ramp up exposure for the game. It kicked off late last month and runs up until Christmas Eve in locations such as Queensgate in Peterborough, The Oracle in Reading and Bluewater in Kent.

Ubisoft brand manager Rachael Grant told MCV: “Our experiential activity will really drive awareness amongst our consumers, with our shopping centre tour visiting all the top centres around the country.”


The publisher is also backing the music game with a TV ad campaign running up until Christmas, with its first spot appearing on The X Factor this weekend. Print ads will run in weekly women’s magazines while MSN Messenger, Facebook, MichaelJackson.com and other websites will feature pre-roll video and skins.

Grant added: “We are very confident that a strong marketing campaign coupled with the brand of Michael Jackson will ensure that everybody will be dancing throughout the Christmas holidays.”
