I was just thinking back to the early years.
MJ has always had a cool walk and of course the confidence w/o
the conceite, but he kicked the swag up a few notches after the THRILLER era.
He got a lot more confident and a lot more sexy and cool with each level of success.
It's such a amazing thing to see/watch.

I like the way he gets to the end of the red carpet, sees the lady with the microphone and obviously tells Raymone that there’s no way in hell he’s doing an interview and walks off. He’s not too rude about it though because he gives the interviewer a kiss to say sorry before leaving. Nice touch.

Nobody commands and works a stage like Michael. He's better at it then anyone. Like you pointed out Shaun, it's not just about sining and dancing, but it's about his facial expressions, how he moves across the stage and the kind of emotion he emites just through that, or just through standing there even. That's his presence and charisma. He owns the stage and he works it to the fullist extent. His energy, his subtlety, his expression, his timing. He makes it come alive better then anyone.

but there are truth to that, the confidence Michael has is like second to none. Who else would ever get away with wearing a golden bath suit like he had on the Dangerous tour? no one! not even a girl!
Who else would get away with crying on command on every show on the same number, no one!
Who else is epic enough to bring a freaking TANK on stage, that shit is like beyond imagination. Me must been chillin' at home and be like "yo yo, how about I put a tank on stage and shit, no one ever seen that" ;D

Who else would arrive on stage in a freaking space capsule?!
Or hang out of that weird stand like he does in the beginning of Beat It?
