Ok, a hint. So the man is holding a fellow soldier who's crying (perhaps his friend died), comforting him and letting him know that no matter what, they're a team and they're there for each other. The other one shows what looks like 2 orphan siblings holding hands, together despite the circumstances, never letting go of each other.

Ok, I've made it more than obvious now. o_O If you pay attention to the hint, you have to guess it.
