How about an MJ album of songs from recording sessions?

Paul McCartney and Wings' long-bootlegged One Hand Clapping album will finally get an official release.
The sessions were recorded in August 1974 at Abbey Road Studios when the band went into the venue to lay down some music for a documentary and a possible live record. The 55-minute show aired later that year but has been rarely seen since then. The accompanying record, however, has remained a favorite bootleg album for decades. The official release will arrive on June 14.
The project was recorded in four days by McCartney and Wings, who performed live-in-the-studio versions of favorites such as "Jet," "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Band on the Run." The upcoming album features the tracks recorded for the show plus several numbers made off-camera.

29 unreleased tracks, covers early songwriting demos, recordings from Bowie’s band, The Arnold Corns, rehearsals at Bowie’s then-home, Haddon Hall, BBC sessions, singles, live performances, plus outtakes and alternative versions from the original album recording sessions, which have been newly mixed by original album producer, Ken Scott.
Unreleased highlights include an alternative version of “Lady Stardust,” an unheard version of the deep-cut classic “Shadow Man,” and an up-tempo take of The Who’s “I Can’t Explain,” which he would later slow down and cover for the Pin-Ups album.
The audio-only Blu-Ray disc features the definitive 2012 remaster of the original Ziggy Stardust album in 96kHz/24bit PCM stereo, plus the album and additional mixes from 2003 in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 as well as the singles, outtakes and alternative versions in 96kHz/24-bit PCM stereo.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have announced the release of Early Daze, a collection of mostly previously unreleased tracks from 1969.

The album includes 10 tracks recorded in 1969 by Young and Crazy Horse. While a couple have been previously released - "Dance Dance Dance" was on Archives Vol. I, "Cinnamon Girl" is featured in its original 7" mono mix from 1970 that has a guitar outro not on the Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere album version - most of the tracks are previously unreleased.

These include unreleased versions of "Winterlong," "Wonderin'" and "Helpless," as well as a take on "Down by the River" with alternate vocals. You can see the track listing for Early Daze below.

It's about time that Victory receives a little more attention.

Putting out a new version of Victory is not going to get it any attention. I never hear anything from the Victory on the radio, other than State Of Shock very rarely on the R&B oldies station. I hear Jackson 5 Christmas songs more often and they're only played in November & December. Billy Idol still gets regular radio airplay on Top 40 oldies & classic rock. Some of Billy's songs are also used in commercials & TV shows/movies. So he's heard by new audiences. The only Jacksons song that I hear that gets regular airplay is Shake Your Body.

Frank Zappa's only Top 10 album, 1974's Apostrophe ('), will be released as a six-disc set for its 50th anniversary later this summer.
The expanded reissue - which includes the original album remastered as well as live tracks and session rarities from the era - will be released on Sept. 13.
The five-CD and one Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition of Apostrophe (') 50th Anniversary Edition includes 75 tracks, including a 2024 remaster, alternate takes, new mixes and two 1974 concert recordings from Colorado Springs and Dayton. Seven tracks of these live tracks were first issued on the out-of-print album The Crux of the Biscuit in 2016.
