Madonna talking about MICHAEL in a new radio interview.

The girl on "ITC" is Princess Stephanie of Monaco, isn't it? I'm pretty sure of that. The guy who stood in for Michael on "Thriller" was poppin' taco, I don't think he could opperate a jet pack.

Actually Madonna is the "Mystery Girl" on In The Closet. Her voice was distorted.

No its not. Its Princess Stephanie of Monaco who is the Mystery Girl on In The Closet. She recorded her own album that same year.

That was said at the time (and never confirmed), but I know someone who's in the know and they said it was Madonna and not Stephanie. There's also several Madonna biographies that say it is her including one released last year.

Well they're all wrong because it is deffo Princess Steph. It has been confirmed and you can tell simply by listening to Stephanie either speak or sing and then listen to ITC and you can tell its NOT Mads.

yeah its well know its princess S.has been know for yearssss

RE: Maddy and 'Inthecloset'

I dont care what anyone says, that 'mystery girl' in the song sounds just like Maddy ... yeah I know, the story is it is the princess chick from Monaco ... I firmly believe it is Madonna actually singing though **stands firm** :eviltongue:

But why would she keep it in the closet?

But that's not what the song is about. And I'm not knocking Madonna for thinking that. I'm just saying that's the reason it didn't work out, because that's what she thought and it's not what Michael thought. The term in the closet can mean a lot of things, it's highly associated with homosexuality, but as in the song, it simply refers to keeping a love affair under wraps.
exactly... and that's great that the collab fell through imo
( the ITC short film with Naomi is a masterpiece)

I think Michael Jackson knew exactly what he was doing when he used the title. He knew that the title refers to secret homosexuals. The title was no accident. Mj is very provoking and he did it deliberately to get people talking. that he did. There was a lot of questions asked about that song. People were asking if MJ was trying to tell them something about his sexuality. If MJ didn't want people to think about it, he would not have used that title. MJ is a very smart and intelligient man. he knows what the media says about him. He likes to provoke people. I don't blame Madonna for thinking that was what the song was about.:)

No,No, No, Please don't misunderstand me. I did not say that the song was about gay love. I know what the song is about. All I am saying is that Michael KNEW that the title would provoke questions, he had to have known. The title has been used for years to describe a certain group of homosexuals. MJ didn't invent that phrase. The fact that he chose to use it, I am saying was a deliberate act, intended to draw attention to his song. That is all I am saying. MJ does play dumb sometimes, but he isn't and he Knows what he is doing.

Actually Madonna is the "Mystery Girl" on In The Closet. Her voice was distorted. There is a double during MJ's Superbowl performance at the beggining of Jam. It may be the same person.

LOL......I am dying to know where you heard that one.......... The Mysterygirl on the album is Princess Stephanie of Monaco, and the one doing the voice-over in the video is Naomi Campbell.

Theres also a saying about skeletons being in the closet or something, in the context of the song I allways thought that it meant keeping a secret about what ever the 2 people were getting up to lol

I have also heard that Madonna is mystery girl (an urban legend)
but i agree with you, Mystery girl is Princess Stephanie of Monaco

Thanks for posting this.

I have often heard that the "mystery girl" in the ITC song was indeed Princess Stephanie of Monaco. It was widely rumored that it was Madonna for a long time. Now, I have heard of the song many times and it sounds nothing like Madonna. Madge's voice is a bit deeper than the woman in the song. Now, Maddy had ideas of what MJ should do with the song and MJ did not like any of her ideas. LOL. Heck, I would be shocked if Maddy is the mystery girl in the song.

I do not know if Maddy loves MJ, I think she likes him, but I do not know about the love part. LOL. MJ was one of her biggest influences and she respects his talent. There are many stories about her and MJ going together in the 1991 Oscars. I do not know what is the actual story is. I have the People magazine from that time and I do not remember what the article states about their date.

Dats, I used to think that MJ did not know what the meaning of the title ITC means until you broke it down. I think that maybe MJ knew about it but wanted to play coy. A lot of people were assuming that it was about MJ's sexuality but I think that is what MJ wanted people to do: to talk about it and then release the video and see it for themselves. It worked.

yeah i too agree that Michael must have known that the title was bound to cause some sort of controversy back in those days. but of course, the title should be []Keep It[/i] In The Closet.

I know you guys are all over the whole ITC thing, but I want to address the guy with the plastic surgery.

She said the person had plastic surgery to look just like MJ.

There IS a guy out there who admits to have had plastic surgery to look more like MJ, he claims that he's Michael's body double and that he sometimes is requested by Michael himself.
IDK if this dude is just some random crazy, but he appeared on 'The fabulous life of MJ' on VH1 so Madonna may be talking about him.

or..maybe....he's just doing what the music tells him to do...he DID say that about his songs..:D

I completely agree. Michael is not as naive as some fans think. I mean considering the fact that there had been rumours about Michael's sexuality for years, there's no way it was just a coincidence that he decided to name one of his songs "In The Closet". He definitely did it to get people talking and I also think he was poking fun at those rumours. Michael is smarter than people think.

^^^ yeah, Michael does tend to make alot of good p.r. decisions, and sround the Thriller era, he had the media in the palm of his hand!!!!!

anyway, I wanna knowhow madonna REALLY feels about MJ..........
I'm just glad he didn't take her advice and get a caesar cut :(

I can honestly say I never knew about a double doing the Thriller bit in the mask and also that it was'nt Michael flying away in the space suit! (well, that one i really knew was'nt him, but wanted tell myself it was him as I felt better thinking that!lol....)

Honestly, what Madonna thinks of MJ is not really that important to me......back in the day when she was so full of herself, she would talk crap about other people including Mike.....she says she is no longer that person, well good for her......but negative or positive, MJ fans should'nt be trippin' over what anyone says about Mike.....
