I had an awesume time at the MJJC meetup, met Charlie looking totally badass in his BAD/THRILLER outfit! When i saw him i was like hey thats charlie!!! lol i think i actually pointed at him and said "its charlie from the macro thread" hehe :D nice to meet u charlie!! :yes:

Im guessing you had to get trains, i left soon after myself, sad cos i wanted to go to the slug and lettuce but gotta get them trains.


and i was also like to comment ever so quietly that i went to the exhibition and I TOUCHED THE GOLD PANTS :D:D:D:D
i know you probably shudn't but they were within reach and not in glass cases. I have to say that material is really silky like in the pics it looks more like gold shiny wrapping paper, but they felt silky and really thin and kinda flimsy, no wonder certain things were outlined :D i also noticed that the entire crotch along the seam was ripped and i mean ripped like you could of stuck several fingers in there. The crotch was out of reach though, not that i tried touching the crotch :ninja::D

And yeah I felt lie touching them as well! But the security man was too near when I was at that bit:(
and I can't believe they had the costume from This Is It! The Opening Costume, with the huge Swaroski Crystal shoulder pads!! :D

and I did notice at the time that the Gold Pants seemed to been quite worn and just because of this thread, I had to look at the *cough* *cough* area. :giggle:

P.S I wrote a message to Michael in one of those books in the Exhibition, did anyone else here?

I went back to the gold pants, i met Michael'sNeverlandPrincess (a memeber here) randomly in there and we kinda went back for a closer inspection and dude wasnt around so i went for it :D

The only thing they had over here was the big poster board promoting the movie, nothing else.
 
awww moon, the exhibition was really good. But i was in there with a bunch on non-fans, they had michael handwritten beat it lyrics and people were like who's handwriting is that? and some people didnt know he was burned (they had the brotman centre burn unit plaq thing) although i heard this middle aged dude say that he couldnt beleive how much MJ did for charity.

Also sorry for grinning at you like a loon yesterday charlie lol

Oh, I knew I'd regret it if I didn't write in the book.
I cried whilst writing it, but the video screen next to it didint help either, with showng Michaels charity work and hearing him talk about it:cry:

It's OK.
I'm still kind of bummed from yesterday. I loved that movie but the lack of excitement from people just made me want to be in London or LA where there were actual fans who would be singing to the movie, dancing, saying OMG at the Billie Jean part.

but i rekon michael knew you were there and appreciated it muchly :yes:

charlie: i cried too at michael's charity work video thing, oh man and that thermos the kids would pack him snacks in................i had to go to a quiet corner :cry:

Yeah:)
I was trying to just capture the moment and seeings some of the scenes I got chills and when I thought, hey Thriller is being played in a movie theater and Michael is on the big screen. It was amazing to think about it.
At least I was showing my love for Michael, even if no one else really was. Some women kept getting up and leaving too, during the movie. I think she kept getting some snacks.
