Well, on my birthday itself I had my brother and sister over with their other halves :giggle:
Last weekend, on saturday I went to a theme park with my best friend and on sunday family came over for dinner, for my birthday.
It was nice :)

How is everyone here?

I am excited about the new album, but just like Katie said, all that media BS that comes with it ... i'm afraid that it's not all happy happy thoughts.

I don't really like the album cover either. Maybe I should look at it more often, and I like it more after a while.

I agree, girls. The album is just so bittersweet on so many levels :cry:
 
About the cover. Hm.. nothing after Dangerous. Why? It´s like they erased his life after that. I don´t like it at all.
And I guess I´m the only one on this forum not looking forward to the album. But I understand those who are happy. But knowing how he was about letting people listen to unfinished songs.. :sad:
 
I kinda feel both ways.

I am very excited to hear new material, and new songs etc etc.
But on the other hand, I feel like I shouldn't listen to it, because it's not the way MJ it would have wanted it to be.
And mostly because he's not with us anymore, most of it is not his work (if I'm right)...
so, it's not really fair, in my opinion.
 
I am not excited about the album as it does not mean much to me because Michael is not here. He was such a perfectionst that no one else could put out an album the way he would wish it to be done. I will buy and listen to it as I want to hear his voice and it is a piece of him I can hold on too.

This album is going to be released whether we like it or not so my personal view on it for myself is to get behind it and hope it is a success. It will be awful if it does not sell many copies.

Fireworks were for Guy Fawkes night. We celebrate that here every November 5th.

It´s difficult to say. But if I should go after how he expressed himself when it comes to his music. I would say that he would not be happy with others finnish his songs. I don´t think he would like it even if it was Quincy doing it. I´ve seen him working on songs, it´s amazing, he´s such a perfectionist and he could change an arrangment so many times, even if it sounded more than good, but for him it didn´t. I don´t know wich tracks it is that´s gonna be on the album. I know about a few songs he said this about. "This one I would never let any of my fans listen too, I don´t like it all and I can´t get it right".

And we are a few that wonders about the Cascio tracks, no doubt that it´s Michael on them, I knew he recorded many songs there in 2007, I´ve heard the demos. But how they ended up with Sony. Eddie said that he would guard the songs with his life, and the whole Cascio family knows what Michael thought about Sony and that he longed for the day he would be free from them. I hope with my whole heart that Eddie was in some way forced to give the songs to Sony and that he didn´t sell them. That would be a stabb in the heart on Michael if they sold the tracks.

I keep teetering between super pumped excitement and guilt and uncertainty. I honestly don't know how Michael would feel about this, but I wish to God I did know. Maybe considering the circumstances he'd understand, who knows. All I know is that this album is tearing my heart to shreds :cry:

So since I don't know whether or not approve, I'm choosing to support whatever he left behind, but it is with a very heavy heart :(

I just wish we knew whether or not he'd give his blessing. It just won't be the same this time since it won't be all him :boohoo:

I bet they took a rough cut of a song and dropped in vocals from other songs Michael has sung to make it sound finished. The issue of who is on 'backing vocals' will only be answered when the album comes out and we see the credits.

He is in there somewhere I think, just doctored.

Yes, he´s in there somewhere. I know the estate has made statement. Still, they can´t convince me he´s the leadvocal in that song.
